Location: Candidates must reside in California, Bay Area or Greater Los Angeles preferred, and willing to travel up to 25% 

Role ScopeThe Director of Partnerships is a high-impact, cross-functional role at the core of Habitat’s thesis and operating model. This leader will facilitate pre-launch partner workstreams for new centers, mature our partner-facing operations, and nurture partner relationships from working team to executives. 

We are looking for a strategic, dynamic leader who can drive deep operational execution and vision-setting with senior stakeholders – an individual with strong communication skills, sound judgment applied to ambiguous operational problems, and a track record of success across cross-cutting priorities and complex organizational dynamics. 

Core Responsibilities & Expectations for the Role 

  • Develop and manage partner relationships across all levels, from day-to-day operations to senior executives 
  • Strengthen partner-facing workflows and tools to improve care delivery, patient experience, and market performance 
  • Problem solve operational, partner-facing issues; derive systems-level insights, and design and deploy systematic solutions. 
  • Build a scalable partnership management structure that supports new center launches and adapts across partner archetypes and markets. 
  • Adapt Habitat’s operations to support expansion into new markets and local partner needs. 
  • Deliver executive updates to Habitat and partner leadership, connecting internal initiatives to external commitments. 
  • Support broader strategic initiatives across the enterprise, particularly where they impact partnerships. 

Required Qualifications:  

  • 6–10+ years of experience in healthcare industry focused on strategy, operations, partnerships, business development, consulting 
  • Experience in startup organization  
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional work from problem definition through implementation.  
  • Ability to bring structure to unclear problems, make practical tradeoffs, and drive outcomes across teams.  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort presenting to and influencing senior audiences. 
  • Aligns with our purpose and our values, and is excited about living those out in daily practice. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with comfort navigating ambiguity, adapting quickly, and contributing to continuous improvement. 
  • Strong learning and growth mindset, including seeking feedback, engaging in healthy debate and using data and curiosity to inform decisions. 
  • Acts with integrity and ownership, considering the broader organizational impact, doing the right thing, and following through to deliver results. 
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%

Compensation:   

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $159,000 – $186,000. This position is also eligible for a target annual bonus of 15% and may be eligible for additional incentive compensation, as applicable. 

The final compensation offered will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, education, certifications, geographical location, and business needs. 

In addition, this position is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance; paid parental leave, short- and long-term disability coverage; life insurance; flexible spending accounts; a 401(k) savings plan that includes a match; paid time off; and company paid holidays. 

At-Will Employment  

Employment with Habitat Health is at-will. This means that either the employee or the employer may terminate the employment relationship at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice, subject to applicable law.
