About the Role

At Hinge Health, we’re transforming care at scale, helping millions of people live pain-free lives. Now, we're looking for a Director of Product Management to lead one of our most member-critical product areas: the Member Journey.

Member Journey defines the framework for the end-to-end experience. That includes how members enroll, receive care, and see a reduction in their pain through Hinge Health. This is the leader for a group of product pods directly tied to our core member outcomes: onboarding, long term retention, new program growth, and outcomes. Done well, it turns an employer benefit into a habit-forming care relationship.

As a Director of Product Management, you'll lead a team of PMs to define the vision for the next-generation member experience in digital healthcare, including how personalization and AI reshape what it means to deliver care at scale.

What You’ll Accomplish
  • Set the Strategic Vision: Define and communicate a multi-year product vision and strategy for the Member Journey neighborhood, ensuring alignment with Hinge Health's broader goals.

  • Lead and Grow the Team: Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Product Managers. Foster a culture of ownership, member obsession, and operational excellence.

  • Drive Enrollment, Retention, and Outcomes: Transform the member lifecycle from triage through long-term retention and ultimately driving long term change for members. Identify friction points, develop program platforms, growing our suite of programs and program extensions, and developing habits that keep members coming back.

  • Scale for New Care Programs: Build a member experience that extends gracefully to new conditions and care models without creating fragmentation or inconsistency across the product.

  • AI & Personalization Innovation: Define and execute how AI and personalization make the member experience more adaptive, relevant, and effective.

  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner deeply with Clinical, Design, and Data Science to understand member needs and translate them into a cohesive product roadmap. Work with Engineering and Design to ensure high-quality, scalable execution.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

  • 10+ years in Product Management building consumer-facing products or B2B2C platforms

  • 4+ years managing a team of Product Managers/Senior Product Managers

  • Experience managing foundational platforms at scale, not just owning features.

  • Comfortable working with distributed teams and US-based stakeholders (Pacific Time)

  • Technical fluency, specifically ability to engage deeply on data models, experimentation infrastructure, and system design

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to work effectively in async, globally distributed teams, paired with strong project management and a bias for urgency to drive execution.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Digital Health or consumer health products.

  • Experience managing platform teams and driving significant architectural designs.

  • Familiarity with AI/ML applications in personalization, recommendations, or behavior change.

  • Strong background in experimentation and A/B testing at scale.

  • Experience with consumer lifecycle management, activation funnels, or engagement mechanics.
