Title and Summary
Director, Product Management
Mastercard Digital Enablement Service (MDES) is a platform for Issuers, Wallet Providers, Merchants, and other Token Requestors to enable the digitization of Mastercard Cards for digital payments. Global MDES team is responsible for building and maintaining MDES Product that powers Digital Wallets and secures E-Commerce ecosystem.
This Position of Director, Product Management will be a member of global MDES team responsible for Product Management and Commercialization of MDES platform for Device Wallets (M4D) for global device wallet providers
Role:• Work with internal and external Business teams in defining product requirement for Device Wallets.• Team with technical architects and Product development teams in defining technical flows.• Work with Project Managers in managing timelines as per customers' expectations.• Collaborate with Engineering teams to build the Product.• Get necessary approvals from legal and data privacy teams.• Partner with regions in defining Go to Market Strategies of the Product.• Conduct Competitive analysis and position the product well in the market• Work with Mastercard regional teams to tailor the product as per the Market needs.• Come up with Sales decks Collaterals for customer facing teams.• Work with Legal teams to come up with contracts and agreements.• Work with Pricing teams to define Product Pricing in accordance with Market needs.
All About You:• Over 15 years of experience across payments, banking, and digital wallets.• MBA with Engineering Background preferred• Understanding of the Financial Services Industry, payment infrastructure and the Digital payment ecosystem• Experience in Product Management of Payments product or services• Expertise in designing autonomous payment architectures featuring dynamic Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) oversight for high-value transactions• Ability to understand ISO 8583 and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) • Strong Customer focus with good business acumen• Experience in working with cross functional teams in executing projects.• Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more. New York City, New York: $187,000 - $318,000 USD
