About the Role

Foxit is looking for a Director of Product Marketing, International to define and lead the category strategy, portfolio positioning, and go-to-market approach for our product portfolio across North America, EMEA, and APAC.

This is a high-impact leadership role for a product marketer who can operate at both a strategic and executional level. You will shape how Foxit understands the market, where we play, how we win, and how we translate customer and competitive insight into product strategy, messaging, packaging, pricing, and commercial activation.

Reporting to the SVP, Head of Marketing, you will lead market intelligence, original research, segmentation, and positioning across the portfolio. You will work in close partnership with Product leadership to ensure market insight directly informs innovation priorities, roadmap direction, and long-term portfolio strategy. You will also partner closely with Growth Marketing, Integrated Campaigns, Sales, and Customer Success to bring positioning to life in market and support successful product launches globally.

This role is ideal for a senior product marketing leader who thrives in fast-moving B2B software environments, brings strong commercial instincts, and knows how to turn customer insight into differentiated market strategy and measurable business impact.

What You’ll DoLead Product Marketing Strategy
  • Define the market, category, and positioning strategy for Foxit’s product portfolio across global regions.

  • Develop clear, differentiated messaging and value propositions aligned to target buyers, use cases, and customer needs.

  • Own segmentation, buyer personas, pricing and packaging inputs, and portfolio narrative development.

  • Ensure product marketing strategy supports both regional go-to-market needs and broader company growth objectives.

Build and Lead the PMM Function
  • Build, lead, and develop a team of Product Marketers, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and capability building.

  • Establish PMM operating rhythms and sprint cycles aligned to product, release, and campaign timelines.

  • Embed product marketing into R&D and product planning processes, including roadmap reviews, discovery sessions, and sprint reviews.

  • Drive strong cross-functional alignment across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.

Drive Market Vision and Intelligence
  • Develop and maintain a 1–3 year market vision for each product area, including customer needs, technology shifts, competitive dynamics, and category evolution.

  • Own the MRD process across both short-term and long-term planning horizons, translating research and analysis into actionable product and business recommendations.

  • Lead original research initiatives to uncover customer insight, validate market direction, and strengthen competitive differentiation.

  • Present market narratives, trends, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, internal stakeholders, and external audiences.

Own Positioning and Portfolio Narrative
  • Lead category definition, competitive differentiation, and positioning strategy across the portfolio.

  • Develop and maintain core messaging frameworks and positioning for products, launches, and strategic pivots.

  • Partner with Brand, Content, and Integrated Marketing to ensure consistency between product narratives and campaign execution.

  • Act as a strategic advisor on how Foxit should evolve its story as markets, buyer needs, and competitors shift.

Lead Go-to-Market Strategy
  • Own tiered go-to-market plans for product launches, including target segments, value proposition, pricing and packaging inputs, and recommended activation strategy.

  • Drive launch readiness across Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.

  • Lead launch retrospectives and ensure insights are fed back into future positioning, research, and planning cycles.

  • Partner with regional and functional teams to adapt strategy for market realities while maintaining a cohesive global narrative.

Enable Sales and Customer-Facing Teams
  • Develop and maintain core enablement assets, including pitch decks, one-pagers, battlecards, objection-handling tools, demo narratives, and ROI messaging.

  • Train Sales and Customer Success teams on releases, messaging updates, competitive changes, and portfolio strategy.

  • Partner with Revenue Enablement on onboarding and support strategic deal cycles with positioning insight and market context.

Shape Product Content and Thought Leadership
  • Partner with Content and SEO teams to identify strategic gaps and opportunities in product-related content across the buyer journey.

  • Guide the development of high-value product content, including solution briefs, white papers, customer stories, and thought leadership assets.

  • Serve as an external voice for Foxit on market trends, technology shifts, and category evolution where appropriate.

Influence Product and Commercial Strategy
  • Represent the voice of the customer and market in roadmap reviews, prioritization discussions, and product planning.

  • Contribute to pricing and packaging strategy in partnership with Product, Finance, and commercial stakeholders.

  • Support PLG and lifecycle initiatives through in-product messaging, onboarding strategy, and product education content.

  • Build strong feedback loops across win/loss analysis, customer interviews, analyst insight, and field input.

What You Bring
  • 10+ years of B2B software product marketing experience, including significant ownership at the Senior Manager or Director level.

  • Proven success leading portfolio strategy, positioning, market intelligence, and go-to-market execution in competitive software markets.

  • Experience marketing to IT buyers and departments across SMB, mid-market, and enterprise segments.

  • Strong expertise across core product marketing disciplines, including messaging, positioning, segmentation, pricing and packaging, launches, and sales enablement.

  • Demonstrated ability to convert market insight into business strategy, product direction, and measurable commercial outcomes.

  • Strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with comfort presenting to customers, internal leaders, partners, analysts, and industry audiences.

  • Experience working across global and regional teams in a multi-market environment.

  • Familiarity with analyst relations and engagement with firms such as Gartner, Forrester, and IDC is a plus.
