About Us
Health is the most important thing in life, and the American healthcare system is completely broken - poor outcomes, high cost, bad patient experience. We're building a new system from the ground up.

Our mission is to improve people’s health by making it easy to live a healthy lifestyle.

Nourish is the country's largest dietitian-led metabolic health clinic. We’re an AI-native digital health system matching patients with 10,000+ Registered Dietitians, physicians, medications, lab testing, and AI agents to deliver insurance-covered care across all 50 states. Founded four years ago, we've completed millions of appointments, tripled year-over-year, and partnered with health plans covering 200M+ Americans across 250+ health systems.

In 2026 we raised a $100M Series C, bringing total funding to $215M. The round was led by Menlo Ventures, with participation from Thrive Capital, Index Ventures, J.P. Morgan Growth Equity Partners, Maverick Ventures, Y Combinator, BoxGroup, Atomico, Daybreak, and Operator Partners.

This is not a job for everyone. We hold an extremely high bar because we believe talent density is our biggest competitive advantage. We're looking for people who actively choose hard, ambiguous problems, who run toward unglamorous work, give and receive candid feedback, and bring relentless resilience without the ego. Our work is important, but we are not self-important. We do this because we’re solving one of the hardest problems in the world, and the problem matters. If that's you, we disproportionately reward it.

About the Role

Nourish's growth depends on supply of our provider, and every provider who joins us passes through our onboarding funnel. Provider Onboarding owns activation, focused on taking a dietitian, medical provider, or therapist from signed offer to confidently seeing their first patient. This team sets the stage for a successful provider start, and if done right, a provider starts fast, stays longer, and performs better.

As Director of Provider Onboarding, you'll own that function end-to-end, across the team, the operating model, and the systems behind it. This is a rare opportunity to optimize an existing team already onboarding providers at scale (RDs), while creating the 0>1 onboarding approach for new providers. On the RD side, activation has held around flat all year with minimal movement, and needs further investment and focus to structurally change the rate at which providers successfully start. At the same time, you'll build the 0→1 onboarding motion for Nourish Medical and Therapy as we expand beyond dietitians into a full virtual metabolic health clinic.

You'll manage and grow a team of Provider Onboarding Associates, and partner closely with Provider Recruiting upstream, and Provider Strategy and Provider Enablement downstream, and Credentialing, People, and Product throughout. This person will report into our Senior Director of Clinical Operations.

This role is full-time and open to NYC-based candidates only (expectation to work in-person 3-4 days per week, with some remote flexibility). Our office is located in Gramercy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own provider activation across every provider type: Diagnose where providers stall between signed offer and first patient, and build the system and processes to ensure successful improvement of metrics over time
  • Build and develop the onboarding team: Hiring and ramping new associates as the team scales, and establishing the performance expectations, coaching cadence, and accountability structure that raise the bar for everyone
  • Design the operating model and systems: Use our CRM, sequencing, and LMS tooling to automate low-value touchpoints
  • Stand up onboarding for new provider types: Build the Medical and Therapy motions from scratch and deciding what's shared infrastructure versus provider-type specific
  • Own the capacity and ROI model: Build headcount and investment plans to drive further activation improvements in 2027 and beyond
  • Partner cross-functionally: Across product, recruiting, and ongoing provider strategy, you’ll ensure there are thoughtful handoffs and great product to drive an overarching provider experience that increases overall supply and drives NPS
We’d love to hear from you if:
  • You have 8+ years of experience, ideally in a marketplace, provider network, or high-growth startup environment
  • You've owned a critical funnel metric end-to-end, and now what it takes to structurally improve key funnel metrics
  • You've built and led a front-line operations team, building performance management structure and holding people accountable to targets
  • You have strong instincts for systems and automation, knowing which human touchpoints to replace with AI automation, and which ones to protect to maintain a delightful provider experience
  • You're comfortable in the numbers, from cohort analysis to caseload modeling to building the ROI case for your own headcount
  • You hold a high bar for the provider experience and want to help Nourish be the best place for providers to work
  • You're energized by ambiguity, moving through roadblocks and challenges to get to a final approach that achieves outcomes
