As the Director of Quality, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality products or services to our customers. Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), you will lead the Quality Engineering function and work closely with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain robust quality assurance processes throughout the product life cycle.

Responsibilities:

Quality Strategy:

Develop and implement a comprehensive quality assurance strategy aligned with organizational goals.

Define and communicate quality standards and guidelines.

Testing and Validation:

Oversee the design and execution of testing processes, including automated and manual testing, to validate software functionality, performance, and security.

Ensure the implementation of effective test automation strategies.

Process Improvement:

Continuously improve development and testing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce defects.

Identify and implement best practices for quality engineering.

Collaboration:

Work closely with development, product management, and operations teams to integrate quality assurance into the entire software development life cycle.

Foster a culture of collaboration and shared responsibility for quality.

Quality Metrics and Reporting:

Establish and monitor key quality metrics to track the performance of development processes.

Provide regular reports to senior leadership on the status of quality initiatives.

Compliance:

Ensure Compliance and Certifications to ISO Standards ( ISO 9001, ISO 14001…. ). Ensure that development and testing processes comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.

Conduct audits and assessments to verify compliance.

Leadership and Team Management:

Build and lead a high-performing quality engineering team.

Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for team members.

Risk Management:

Identify and mitigate Quality risks associated with product (Hardware and Software) development.

Implement controls to minimize the impact of potential issues.

Continuous Learning:

Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in quality engineering.

Foster a culture of continuous learning within the team.

Customer Satisfaction:

Focus on customer satisfaction by ensuring that products meet user expectations, are user-friendly, and are free from critical defects.

Actively seek and incorporate customer feedback into quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within quality engineering or Product (Hardware + Software) development.
  • Experience in the Semiconductor; Electronics Contract Manufacturing Industries is Desirable
  • Strong background in quality assurance methodologies, testing processes, and test automation.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements.
  • Proven track record of implementing process improvements and achieving high-quality standards.
  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a relevant field.
