Role Summary

Spring Fertility is seeking a Director of Strategic Implementation Operations to translate company growth priorities into focused plans, patient-centered operating models, measurable initiatives, and scalable execution across markets. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and partnering closely with Clinical, Marketing, and Technology executive leaders. This role connects marketing strategy, business operations, clinical operations/patient interface, patient experience, finance, technology, and local market teams.

This is a high-impact role for a structured, analytical operator who can move from strategy to execution: diagnosing business and patient journey opportunities, building business cases, designing processes, recommending where technology can improve the patient experience and reduce manual work, and ensuring initiatives are prioritized, implemented, tested, and measured against business impact.

Essential Functions

Improving the Patient Journey to Fuel Growth

  • Translate enterprise growth priorities into operational strategies and measurable initiatives across markets.
  • Seeks to continuously improve the end-to-end patient journey from first inquiry through treatment onboarding, identifying friction points, handoffs, communication gaps, and opportunities to make the experience clearer, warmer, and easier for patients.
  • Lead analyses to identify growth opportunities, diagnose funnel or market performance issues, and recommend actions across patient acquisition, activation, conversion, retention, and resource allocation.
  • Develop executive-ready business cases and decision memos that synthesize patient needs, operational realities, financial implications, risks, and required capabilities.
  • Create planning cadences, prioritization frameworks, and governance mechanisms that improve focus, accountability, execution, and cross-functional alignment.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Analytics, KPI Ownership & Executive Reporting

  • Own key marketing, patient funnel, operational, and systems performance metrics, including new patient demand, inquiry response, appointment conversion, campaign performance, clinic capacity alignment, system adoption, and workflow efficiency.
  • Develop dashboards, reporting, and executive summaries that connect marketing activity, patient journey performance, operational constraints, resource allocation, and growth.
  • Partner with Finance to evaluate business ROI, market economics, resource utilization, budget allocation, and growth tradeoffs.
  • Jointly track patient satisfaction, time-to-service, and administrative-burden reduction with operational and technology owners; do not own technical KPIs such as platform availability, AI accuracy, model drift, or integration performance.

Process Design and Business Requirements

  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, clinical and finance operation leaders, and technology partners to define, document, and prioritize business requirements, functional specifications, workflows, and success measures.
  • Maintain ownership of the operating process after launch and recommend/implement adjustments based on business performance and frontline feedback.
  • Own current-state and future-state processes, including patient-facing and internal workflows, role clarity, decision rights, handoffs, escalation paths, and data flows across functions and systems.

Business Readiness, Testing, and Change Management

  • Own stakeholder alignment, operational readiness, business communications, role clarity, frontline engagement, and operating-procedure changes for approved initiatives.
  • Co-lead user-acceptance testing with operational users and provide business sign-off against defined acceptance criteria; Technology owns system and integration testing.
  • Partner with AI Transformation and Technology on rollout sequencing, training, adoption, and feedback loops; Technology owns technical training, release readiness, go-live, and post-launch stabilization.
  • Assess operating-model, process, capacity, and adoption risks and coordinate mitigation with accountable functional owners.
Education, Licenses, Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
  • 2–5+ years of experience in strategy, business operations, growth operations, management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, healthcare operations, or a similarly analytical role.
  • Ability to structure ambiguous problems, analyze data, build recommendations, and align senior stakeholders.
  • Experience translating strategy into operating plans, cross-functional processes, KPIs, and scalable execution models.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen, with comfort using funnel, volume, operational, and financial data to inform tradeoffs and decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create executive-ready presentations, business cases, dashboards, and decision memos.
  • Strong systems and process fluency, with experience using dashboards, CRM or patient funnel reporting, project management tools, and workflow processes to drive visibility, accountability, and execution.
  • Experience managing, coaching, or providing functional leadership to direct reports or cross-functional execution partners.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple clinics or markets simultaneously and navigate ambiguity.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the credibility to work effectively with clinical and provider audiences.
  • Background in management consulting, investment banking, private equity portfolio operations, corporate strategy, business operations, or strategic finance preferred
  • Experience in healthcare, fertility, women’s health, consumer healthcare, multi-site services, or other operationally complex businesses preferred
  • Experience supporting multi-location, multi-market, or practice-based businesses where strategy must be translated into localized execution preferred
