About Us
Health is the most important thing in life, and the American healthcare system is completely broken - poor outcomes, high cost, bad patient experience. We're building a new system from the ground up.

Our mission is to improve people’s health by making it easy to live a healthy lifestyle.

Nourish is the country's largest dietitian-led metabolic health clinic. We’re an AI-native digital health system matching patients with 10,000+ Registered Dietitians, physicians, medications, lab testing, and AI agents to deliver insurance-covered care across all 50 states. Founded four years ago, we've completed millions of appointments, tripled year-over-year, and partnered with health plans covering 200M+ Americans across 250+ health systems.

In 2026 we raised a $100M Series C, bringing total funding to $215M. The round was led by Menlo Ventures, with participation from Thrive Capital, Index Ventures, J.P. Morgan Growth Equity Partners, Maverick Ventures, Y Combinator, BoxGroup, Atomico, Daybreak, and Operator Partners.

This is not a job for everyone. We hold an extremely high bar because we believe talent density is our biggest competitive advantage. We're looking for people who actively choose hard, ambiguous problems, who run toward unglamorous work, give and receive candid feedback, and bring relentless resilience without the ego. Our work is important, but we are not self-important. We do this because we’re solving one of the hardest problems in the world, and the problem matters. If that's you, we disproportionately reward it.

About the Role

Nourish is hiring a Director of Strategy & Operations to own high-priority business initiatives from strategy through execution. You’ll partner closely with senior leadership to define the roadmap for your area of ownership and deliver ambitious growth and efficiency goals. This is a highly analytical, hands-on role with direct accountability for measurable results and a meaningful impact on Nourish’s bottom line. Your work will help shape how we scale access to high-quality nutrition and metabolic care nationwide.

You’ll own initiatives end to end—from diagnosing the problem and building the business case to driving implementation and measuring impact. You’ll combine rigorous analysis with hands-on execution, bringing structure to ambiguity and creating the systems and processes that help the business scale. This is an opportunity to build in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment, influence important decisions, and make a direct impact on Nourish’s performance as we scale access to high-quality nutrition and metabolic care nationwide.

This role is full-time and open to NYC-based candidates only (expectation to work in person 3+ days per week, with some remote flexibility). Our office is located in Gramercy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own high-impact initiatives end to end. Take a critical business problem from an ambiguous starting point to a clear plan of action. Drive implementation and remain accountable for the outcome after launch.
  • Lead and develop a small team. Inherit and directly manage a small team of individual contributors, setting clear priorities, coaching their development, and helping them deliver meaningful business results.
  • Identify opportunities and own the impact. Analyze business performance to find opportunities for growth or greater efficiency within your function. Build the business case and prioritize initiatives based on their expected impact. Define the KPIs that will demonstrate success, then track results and recommend changes when performance falls short.
  • Partner closely with senior leadership. Help leadership evaluate where to invest and which tradeoffs to make. Turn those decisions into actionable plans with clear ownership and measurable milestones.
  • Drive execution across functions. Bring the right teams together around a shared goal. Keep work moving by resolving dependencies and addressing risks, using influence rather than relying on reporting relationships.
  • Build for scale. Improve how the business operates so performance becomes more consistent as Nourish grows. Test new approaches and use the results to determine what should become standard practice.
We’d love to hear from you if:
  • You have 6+ years of experience, with a mix of strategy work (e.g., management consulting, finance, business operations) and direct start-up experience
  • You’ve owned meaningful business outcomes. You can point to results you were accountable for, explain the choices that drove them, and discuss what you changed when performance fell short.
  • You think from first principles and turn complexity into clear choices. You can take an ambiguous problem, identify what matters, and build a practical strategy around it.
  • You bring strong analytical and commercial judgment. You’re comfortable modeling business performance and drawing actionable insights from data. You understand how growth and investment choices affect the bottom line; Excel or SQL skills are a plus.
  • You’re a strategic operator with a bias for action. You can set direction for your area of ownership and get into the details required to make it work. Strong project management helps you keep multiple priorities moving without losing accountability for results.
  • You lead effectively across functions. You turn complex insights into clear recommendations and build the trust needed to act on them. You can drive progress across teams you don’t directly manage.
  • You’re motivated by improving healthcare access and outcomes. You want to apply your operating and leadership skills to help more people access high-quality care.
