Overview:

The Director, Supply Chain leads and owns planning and inventory management activities in support of Coherus’ supply operations. Working cross-functionally and collaborating with individuals and functions both within Coherus and at third parties, the Director, Supply Chain drives activities to ensure effective planning, availability and supply of materials to meet internal and external requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and plan requirements for materials and production services at current contract organizations
  • Manage procurement of materials, including the issuance of purchase orders for supply, coordination and follow-up on deliveries
  • Leads inventory tracking and accuracy of inventory records
  • Update and maintain Coherus ERP system and lead activities within that system for manufacturing and operations teams
  • Support and execute supply scenario planning and assessment and may present to Senior Management or other stakeholders to support decision-making
  • Generate, provide and share reports and other information across internal and external functions supporting supply operations to ensure alignment and understanding of supply requirements and schedules
  • Collaborate with Coherus Finance to provide inventory and material data to support accounting, budgeting and other financial activities
  • Represent Supply Chain on alliance program teams, provide Supply Chain support to partners and manage supply to meet partner/program needs
  • Coordinate and lead shipping validation activities for new or existing products or shipping lanes
  • Support coordination and execution of shipments of materials
  • Maintain and update, when necessary, the Coherus transportation network, including set up of new shipping lanes and new logistical providers
  • Support and/or represent Supply Chain on various cross-functional initiatives and projects
  • Support definition and improvement of business processes and SOP’s for Supply Chain activities, when necessary
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business or a related field with at least 8 years’ experience including 3+ years in Supply Chain management in a pharmaceutical manufacturing/development environment (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered)
  • Solid working knowledge of MRP and other Supply Chain concepts
  • Proven problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Proven ability to understand, analyze and manage complex data (e.g., inventory records, demand/supply data) with an ardent attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of cGMP and GxP systems or other pharmaceutical product management systems
  • Knowledge in temperature sensitive transportation/logistics required
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a dynamic, complex and fast-paced environment
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to develop successful working relationships across functions and departments

The Base Salary Range for this position is $190,000 to $240,000. Coherus considers various factors, including professional background and work experience, when determining base pay. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary.
