The Director, Sustainability Strategy & Compliance is responsible for leading the development, execution, and continuous improvement of Littelfuse's global sustainability strategy, regulatory compliance programs, ESG reporting, and governance initiatives. This role oversees sustainability disclosures, climate and carbon accounting, ESG and product compliance programs, customer sustainability requests, product sustainability initiatives, and enterprise sustainability performance. The Director partners with business units and corporate functions to ensure compliance with evolving global regulations while advancing Littelfuse's sustainability commitments, risk management objectives, and long-term business strategy.

About Your Job:

Sustainability Strategy & Program Leadership

· Lead the development and execution of Littelfuse's global sustainability strategy and roadmap.

· Partner with senior leaders to integrate sustainability priorities into business operations and decision-making.

· Identify opportunities to improve environmental, social, and governance performance across the organization.

· Develop and manage sustainability goals, metrics, and performance tracking systems.

· Lead and prioritize the Sustainability team's activities to ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives and regulatory requirements.

· Drive organizational change through influence, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional leadership.

Sustainability Regulatory Compliance

· Lead enterprise readiness and compliance efforts for emerging sustainability regulations and disclosure requirements.

· Monitor and assess regulatory developments, including climate, packaging, product stewardship, and sustainability reporting regulations.

· Develop and implement compliance roadmaps and governance frameworks to ensure adherence to sustainability regulations across global operations.

· Partner with Legal, Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Product Management, Operations, and EHS teams to implement sustainability-related compliance programs.

· Establish processes, controls, and accountability mechanisms to ensure compliance with applicable local and country-specific laws and regulations.

Climate Strategy & Carbon Management

· Lead the company's greenhouse gas inventory management, including Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions programs.

· Oversee carbon accounting methodologies, emissions data quality, and reporting processes.

· Manage sustainability data systems and reporting platforms, including carbon accounting tools and databases.

· Support development and execution of climate-related goals, emissions reduction initiatives, and decarbonization strategies.

· Coordinate sustainability data collection across global sites and business functions.

ESG Disclosure & Sustainability Reporting

· Lead Littelfuse's sustainability disclosure strategy and ensure compliance with applicable reporting requirements.

· Oversee preparation and publication of the annual Sustainability Report and other external disclosures, including support for the Proxy Statement, Annual Report, and public sustainability communications.

· Coordinate sustainability reporting processes and reporting calendar activities across the organization.

· Support external assurance activities and strengthen sustainability reporting controls and governance processes.

· Maintain and continuously improve sustainability website content and ESG information disclosures.

Customer & Product Sustainability

· Lead responses to customer, investor, and stakeholder sustainability information requests.

· Develop processes and governance to efficiently manage sustainability-related customer inquiries.

· Support product sustainability initiatives, including product environmental footprint assessments, life cycle assessments (LCA), and sustainability performance improvements.

· Partner with Research & Development and New Product Development teams to integrate sustainability considerations into product design and development processes.

· Identify opportunities to enhance product sustainability attributes and customer-facing sustainability value propositions.

Sustainability Governance & Executive Engagement

· Manage Sustainability Steering Committee activities and governance processes.

· Develop executive-level communications, presentations, and updates for senior leadership, and the Board of Directors.

· Provide strategic recommendations regarding sustainability risks, opportunities, and emerging trends.

· Collaborate with Investor Relations, Communications, Legal, Finance, and EHS leaders on enterprise sustainability initiatives.

Data Governance & Assurance Readiness

· Establish and maintain sustainability data governance processes and internal controls.

· Improve sustainability data quality, consistency, transparency, and auditability.

· Support internal and external assurance requirements for sustainability disclosures and regulatory filings.

· Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to sustainability data management and reporting processes.

About You:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, Engineering, Public Policy, or a related field.

• 10+ years of progressive experience in sustainability, ESG, environmental compliance, climate strategy, or related disciplines.

· 5+ years of leadership experience managing programs and influencing cross-functional teams in a global organization.

· Demonstrated experience leading sustainability reporting, carbon accounting, regulatory compliance, or ESG programs.

· Strong understanding of sustainability disclosure frameworks and standards, including GRI, SASB, TCFD, CDP, and emerging regulatory reporting requirements.

· Experience with greenhouse gas accounting methodologies, Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions reporting.

· Experience managing sustainability software platforms and large-scale sustainability data programs.

· Proven ability to lead complex global projects involving multiple stakeholders and business functions.

· Strong executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management capabilities.

· Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%, as required to support global sustainability programs, regulatory compliance activities, and stakeholder engagement.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience in manufacturing, industrial, electronics, or technology industries.

· Knowledge of product sustainability, lifecycle assessment (LCA), circular economy principles, and sustainable product development.

· Experience supporting sustainability assurance or audit processes.

· Familiarity with sustainability compliance requirements in North America, Europe, and Asia.

· Professional certifications in sustainability, environmental management, climate, or ESG-related disciplines.

Salary Range:

$166,000 - $240,460

The salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
