Lambda is scaling Treasury to support financing and operating a multi-gigawatt AI infrastructure buildout. As Director, Treasury, reporting to the VP, Treasurer, you'll be a key leader on the Treasury team, serving as a deputy who can operate across the full breadth of the function and step in with authority on any workstream. You'll provide day-to-day team guidance across cash operations and forecasting, investment management, liquidity and capital deployment, debt and financing compliance, insurance, and risk management.

What You’ll Do

  • Own treasury cash management strategy, including liquidity planning and working capital optimization.

  • Build and own Lambda's investment management platform for corporate cash.

  • Establish Treasury's risk management program and policy, including FX, interest rate, and power risk.

  • Develop 13-week and long-term cash flow forecasting infrastructure, including implementation of a Treasury Management System (TMS).

  • Own day-to-day banking relationships across Lambda's bank partners, partnering with Capital Markets/Corp Dev on credit facility and financing relationships.

  • Partner with Capital Markets and FP&A on capital allocation decisions, IPO readiness, and other scaling project support.

  • Oversee intercompany funding structures, cross-border transactions, SPV account waterfalls, and cash liquidity strategy.

  • Develop and grow a treasury team as the function scales.

  • Support the corporate risk insurance program, liaising with Legal and FP&A teams.

  • Build Treasury policies, controls, and approval frameworks designed for IPO readiness.

  • Prepare Treasury materials for the CFO, executive leadership, and audit/board committees

You

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in treasury, corporate finance, or a related function, at a senior level at a high-growth or pre-IPO technology company.

  • Demonstrated expertise in cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and bank relationship management.

  • Experience with ERP systems and Treasury Management Systems (TMS).

  • Broad treasury fluency; comfortable moving across cash management, debt/covenant compliance, capital markets, insurance, and financial risk management.

  • People leadership experience, with a track record of managing, mentoring, and providing hands-on guidance to a team, and of prioritizing across competing, mission-critical workstreams.

  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; strong presentation-building skills; comfort working cross-functionally.

  • Strong executive presence and communication skills; able to represent Treasury independently with banks, lenders, auditors, and executive leadership.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CTP or CFA designation preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with interest rate, power derivatives, and ISDA documentation.

  • Experience with GPU, data center, or other capital-intensive infrastructure financing.

  • SOX readiness or public company treasury experience.

  • Experience building AI tools or embedding AI into treasury workflows to improve forecasting, visibility, and control.
