Distribution Associate - Shipping Dept

Thursday - Sunday, 6:00am - 4:30pm ET

Primary Purpose: The Warehouse Associate will work in any variety of warehousing functions. Positions may include functions within receiving, shipping, order fulfillment, returns, special projects, gift packaging, and inventory.
The associate will safely, accurately, and efficiently pick, pack and process products, including products requiring additional service such as price ticket removal, reticketing, gift packaging, Customer Care single unit orders, and crimping.

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in order fulfillment to...

• Process volume according to productivity, accuracy and team standards.
• Ensure deadlines are met
• Effective problem solving in functional area (audit orders, issue cartons).
• Utilize WM and other team specific programs to determine status and resolve cases within the department.
• Assist with carton and corrugate prep and corrugate breakdown and disposal as needed.
• Replenish usable totes/bins.
• Process at the tote replenishment line.
• Process in the Problem Resolution area.
• Research and process shortage.
• Research and process No Read divert.
• Accurately break down and distribute tickets.
• Sort/ off load cartons to and from pallets and conveyor as needed.
• Assist packing cartons in dunnage and seal as needed.
• Communicate with Team Leader regarding any equipment or workstation issues timely
• Flexibility to assist in other departments as needed.
• Practice safe work habits including communicating with co-workers and managers of all safety concerns.
• Operate hand pallet jack.
• Provide housekeeping assistance throughout the department daily.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.
