Lead end-to-end design and technical execution to migrate an Ericsson Dual Mode 5G SA and 4G EPC from 2-site NFVi to a resilient 3-site CNIS. Create HLDs/LLDs, migration and rollback plans, govern Kubernetes/CNF onboarding, CI/CD/GitOps automation, resiliency, observability, and act as the customer-facing technical authority.
Join our Team
About This Opportunity
This is one of the most technically ambitious transformation programs in Southeast Asia's telecom landscape - and we need the architect to lead it. As E2E Solution Architect, you'll own the end-to-end design and technical execution of migrating a live Ericsson Dual Mode Core network - running 5G SA and 4G EPC simultaneously - from a 2-site NFVi deployment to a resilient, cloud-native 3-site CNIS architecture. Every design decision you make will directly impact network stability, service continuity, and the digital experience of millions of Singtel subscribers. This is a role for a technical authority who can lead from the front - with customers, with engineers, and in the boardroom.
What You'll Do
Own the Architecture - End to End
Define and govern the target-state architecture across 4G EPC, 5G SA Core, Signalling, Charging, Subscriber Data Management, and Cloud Infrastructure. You'll develop HLDs, LLDs, migration strategies, and rollback plans - and you'll be accountable for every one of them.
Lead the Transformation
Drive the full migration from NFVi (CCD/CEE) to CNIS - planning and executing multi-site traffic migration, ISSU strategies, disaster recovery, and failover scenarios. Minimal customer impact isn't a goal. It's a requirement.
Be the Design Authority for Cloud-Native
Own governance of Kubernetes cluster design, CNF onboarding, networking, storage, security, and observability. Drive N+1/N+2 resiliency and geo-redundancy requirements that keep mission-critical services running without compromise.
Govern Lifecycle & Automate Everything
Define software upgrade and lifecycle strategies, lead EOM modernisation roadmaps, and govern CI/CD and GitOps deployment frameworks. You'll push for Infrastructure-as-Code, automated validation, and MOP automation - because smarter operations are non-negotiable.
Lead Technical Governance
Chair architecture reviews and design authority forums. Conduct risk assessments for major transformations and CABs. Ensure alignment across Core, Cloud, Transport, OSS, and Security - nothing falls through the cracks on your watch.
Be Singtel's Trusted Technical Advisor
Engage directly with the customer's CTO, architecture, and operations teams. Present transformation roadmaps, solution strategies, and architecture evolution at executive steering committees - with clarity, credibility, and confidence.
