Job Description SummaryAs a leader of the Economic Value & Pricing Team, you will be responsible for building and executing pricing strategies for the sale and installation of heavy duty gas turbine and plant equipment. You will lead a talented team of pricing strategists to cultivate market intelligence and support pricing recommendations that balance win/loss and strong business financials.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead a team in the discipline of value analysis and pricing for all heavy duty commercial activity in the Americas pole. 
  • Develop comprehensive pricing strategy for each and every commercial opportunity that is bid within the pole
  • Work closely with sales/commercial teams to understand customer needs to ensure we provide a competitive offer
  • Provide managerial support and coaching for your team with emphasis on continual learning and professional development
  • Develop budgetary quotations for customers based upon customer and project knowledge
  • Conduct win/loss analysis to ensure learnings are incorporated and reflected for future opportunities
  • Work with product line function to ensure key learnings from commercial activity are incorporated into future investment plans
  • Develop and maintain a competitive pricing database, analyze customer acceptance of new products and pricing, cause and effect of pricing decisions in the marketplace.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in engineering and/or business/finance or relevant experience equivalent to that degree
  • 10+ years of experience in power generation industry (gas turbines, wind turbines, solar, hydro, nuclear, etc)
  • Working level knowledge in power plant cash flow modeling including levelized-cost-of-electricity, net present value, internal rate of return, etc..
  • Strong foundation in gas turbine products and their key metrics that create customer value
  • Understanding of powerplant fundamentals, equipment, and costing
  • Experience in continuous improvement through LEAN (value stream mapping, Kaizen, visual management)

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $149,100.00 and $248,600.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
