Location:  San Jose, CA  

Type: Full-Time | 40 hrs/week (Wednesday–Sunday)

Compensation: $20–$28/hour + performance-based incentives, targeted $50K-$74K/year

About the Role

The School Advisor and Coordinator is a front desk and administrative role that serves as the first point of contact for families at Think Academy. This position focuses on student assessment, parent consultation, and enrollment support, helping families identify the most suitable learning path based on each student’s academic needs.

You will play a key role in conducting placement evaluations, recommending appropriate classes, and ensuring a smooth and positive experience for both new and existing families.

Key Responsibilities

Enrollment & Educational Consultation

  • Welcome and consult with prospective families in person, by phone, and online.
  • Understand students' academic needs and recommend appropriate courses and learning pathways.
  • Conduct program presentations and explain curriculum offerings, schedules, and tuition information.
  • Support placement tests, trial classes, and enrollment procedures.
  • Follow up with leads and prospective families to maximize enrollment conversion rates.

Parent Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with parents and students.
  • Provide timely responses to inquiries and concerns.
  • Track student progress and communicate program updates to families.
  • Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the student lifecycle.

Sales & Business Development

  • Meet enrollment and sales targets established by management.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, consultations, and enrollments in CRM systems.
  • Participate in marketing events, open houses, educational seminars, and community outreach activities.
  • Identify opportunities for student retention, referrals, and program expansion.

Campus & Administrative Support

  • Assist with front desk operations and daily campus activities.
  • Coordinate with teachers and operations teams to ensure smooth classroom scheduling and student services.
  • Support student check-in/check-out procedures and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; Education, Business, Marketing, or related fields are a plus.
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, educational consulting, admissions, or student services preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese is a required 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for education and helping students succeed.
  • Ability to build rapport with parents and students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work over weekends as needed.
