Position Overview
Selkirk Sport is looking for a detail-oriented Email Marketing Coordinator to execute and optimize our high-growth email and SMS marketing programs. In this role, you will be the engine behind our lifecycle and promotional campaigns, ensuring every message is mobile-optimized, perfectly segmented, and aligned with our brand initiatives.

Reporting to the Lifecycle & Retention Marketing Manager, you will have direct authority over campaign builds, A/B testing, and list segmentation to drive measurable customer engagement and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Execution & Lifecycle Management

  • End-to-End Deployment: Build and execute high-impact email and SMS campaigns focused on conversions and brand loyalty.

  • Automated Flows: Develop and refine sophisticated lifecycle sequences, including welcome series, post-purchase follow-ups, win-back, and replenishment flows.

  • Audience Segmentation: Execute precise customer list segmentation to deliver highly personalized and targeted messaging.

  • Operational Alignment: Coordinate with product launch timelines to ensure all messaging is synchronized with brand initiatives.

Performance Optimization & Analysis

  • Testing & Growth: Conduct rigorous A/B testing on subject lines, creative assets, and CTAs to identify performance-winning strategies.

  • Reporting: Monitor and report on key KPIs—including engagement, deliverability, and revenue—using Google Analytics, Looker Studio, and ESP-native tools.

  • Compliance: Maintain absolute adherence to CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and deliverability best practices.

Strategic Collaboration

  • Creative Partnership: Partner with Creative and Content teams to produce visually engaging, mobile-first communications.

  • Data Integration: Work with the Analytics and Paid Media teams to utilize Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) for enhanced targeting and cross-channel consistency.

What You Bring

  • Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in email marketing, lifecycle marketing, or marketing automation.

  • Platform Expertise: Proficiency with advanced marketing automation tools (e.g., Maestra, Bloomreach, or Klaviyo).

  • Analytical Skills: The ability to interpret performance data and apply those insights to retention and personalization strategies.

  • Technical Knowledge: A strong understanding of SMS marketing, A/B testing methodologies, and deliverability fundamentals.

  • Communication: Exceptional attention to detail and professional communication skills suitable for a fast-paced, remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the e-commerce, consumer products, or sporting goods industry.

  • Familiarity with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and Google Analytics/Looker Studio.

  • Automated lifecycle flows are consistently optimized for higher engagement and conversion.

  • Promotional campaigns are deployed with zero errors and high accuracy in segmentation.

  • You proactively identify improvements in customer retention through data-driven insights.

The Details

  • Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 annually 
  • Location: Fully remote
