About The RoleAs the Employee Experience & Inclusion Manager you will be integral to driving internal culture at The RealReal. You will design and deliver a seamless, inclusive, and high-energy end-to-end journey for every employee. You won’t just manage programs; you will cultivate an environment where diversity, inclusion, and belonging are woven into our DNA, and where employee engagement is a natural byproduct of a supportive workplace. You will be responsible for partnering with the People team and cross-functional business teams.

What You Get To Do Every Day

Culture & Brand Advocacy

  • Identify opportunities to improve employee experience using both qualitative and quantitative data.

  • Partner with our Brand and Communications teams to ensure our internal culture and programs align with our external employer brand.

  • Develop and execute programs that create a workplace where people feel seen, heard, and valued.

  • Owns community across a range of cohort groups to monitor engagement and experience needs, while helping to drive greater understanding and build breakthrough experience programming 

End-to-End Employee Journey

  • Audit and optimize every touchpoint of the employee lifecycle: from recruitment to a thoughtful offboarding process.

  • Innovate to move beyond perk offerings and create a meaningful framework for cultural programs and activities

Program Ownership & Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging Strategy

  • Own and lead the end-to-end employee onboarding experience that ensures new hires feel a sense of belonging from day one.

  • Integrate diversity, inclusion, and belonging principles into all people processes (hiring, performance reviews, and promotions).

  • Own Employee Resource Group (ERG) strategy and programming.

Engagement & Feedback Loops

  • Have an expansive view of all channels to grow internal communities across all platforms (Slack, intranet, internal communication platforms), in partnership with the Comms team.

  • Manage internal recognition tools that foster a culture of peer-to-peer appreciation.

  • Design engagement strategies that maintain connection across all physical and remote locations.

What You Bring To The Role

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Employee Experience, People Ops, or Culture 

  • 2+ years of experience in HR

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, including experience working with executive level

  • Passion for Employee Experience programs and high emotional intelligence 

  • Solution-oriented and focused on continuous improvement with a strategic approach

  • Proven track record of building creative and holistic programs that result in measurable change

  • Strong budget management skills

  • The ability to lead through influence with clear storytelling

  • Data-oriented with the ability to use metrics (NPS, turnover, engagement scores) to tell a story and drive change

  • Experience with engagement tools (e.g., CultureAmp, Lattice, or Glint)

  • Strong project management skills

  • High attention to detail, organized, and have a passion for high quality work

  • Experience working with a diverse group of employee types across fulfillment centers, corporate offices, virtually and in-person 

Preferred Requirements:

  • Proficient with Google Suite

  • Ability to travel 15%

Compensation, Benefits, + Perks

The expected salary range for this role is $115,000.00-$125,000.00. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR’s total rewards package. Depending on role, employees may also be eligible for a bonus program, incentive pay and benefits.
