About this role

As an Employment Associate, you will report to our VP, Associate General Counsel, Litigation and Employment and provide practical, business-oriented legal support across people operations, strategic employment decisions, and company policies and procedures. You will work closely with internal business partners and outside counsel to help structure, negotiate, document, and execute complex projects.


What you’ll do

  • Advise internal business partners on employment matters, workplace policies, and other complex people-related issues
  • Draft, review, and negotiate offer letters, employment agreements, severance agreements, and related people operations documentation
  • Coordinate with outside counsel, people operations, and internal cross-functional stakeholders on employment investigations and disputes
  • Support the development, rollout, and enforcement of company employment policies and procedures
  • Contribute to employee relations and workplace culture initiatives
  • Help develop efficient legal processes, people operations policy templates, and internal documentation standards
  • Perform other employment, labor, and workplace-related legal work as business needs evolve


What you’ll bring

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active membership in at least one U.S. state bar
  • 3+ years of relevant employment law experience at a law firm, in-house legal department, or both
  • Excellent drafting, analytical, written, and oral communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and sound judgment in handling confidential and sensitive matters
  • Comfort and familiarity working with business and other non-legal stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and employment matters
  • A collaborative team player with strong initiative and desire to grow professionally


Compensation and Benefits 

  • Competitive Salary: $150,000 - $190,000 (commensurate with experience) + bonus + sign-on equity grant.
