About the role

As an Engagement Manager, you will own the execution and delivery of high-impact AI data generation and model improvement projects in healthcare and clinical domains. You'll work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered with high quality, speed, and reliability.

We're hiring across a range of seniority levels for this role. More senior Engagement Managers will take on greater ownership of commercial outcomes and customer strategy, while more junior hires will focus on driving day-to-day execution. Across all levels, this role offers growing exposure to customer strategy and commercial decision-making, with commercial and leadership skills expected to develop over time — and already demonstrable in more senior candidates.

What you’ll do
  • Own a book of business, with accountability for revenue, margin, retention, and expansion.

  • Lead end-to-end creation and delivery of advanced AI model training datasets.

  • Coordinate distributed teams of clinical and life sciences experts.

  • Maintain high quality standards through strong guidelines and QA processes.

  • Improve operational systems to increase speed, quality, and consistency.

  • For senior candidates: Own deal scoping, pricing, and expansions planning.

  • For senior candidates: Own day-to-day customer relationships with foundation model companies, leading life sciences organizations, and research labs and act as a trusted partner.

What you bring
  • 2–6 years owning outcomes in human data operations, consulting, strategy, or other fast-paced operationally heavy roles.

  • Strong executor who enjoys owning complex projects end-to-end.

  • Comfortable working with demanding, technical customers.

  • Detail-oriented and quality-focused, especially in regulated environments.

  • Clear, structured communicator across technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Able to operate independently with accountability and urgency.

  • We expect commercial acumen and leadership to grow with experience in this role, candidates at the senior level of this role should already demonstrate these skills.

Pay Transparency Notice:

Full-time offers include salary, target equity, and benefits

Base: $130,000–$180,000 with aggressive performance-based bonus

This is a hybrid role, in our New York or San Francisco office 3 days per week.
