About AirOps

AirOps is the first end-to-end content engineering platform built for the AI era. In a world where discovery is shifting from traditional search to AI-driven platforms, we help brands get found—and stay found. We are currently in a phase of hyper-growth, having 5x’d our revenue in the last year by helping marketing teams at Ramp, Chime, Carta, and Rippling turn content quality into a durable competitive advantage.

Our platform equips marketers to navigate the new discovery landscape, prioritize high-impact opportunities, and create accurate, on-brand content that earns citations from AI and trust from humans. Backed by Greylock, Unusual Ventures, Wing VC, and Founder Collective, we are building the intelligent systems that will empower the next generation of marketing leaders. AirOps is headquartered in San Francisco, New York and Montevideo.

The Role

Our best enterprise customers need more than software. They need someone embedded with them to drive real outcomes: sitting in strategy sessions, translating goals into a practical SEO and AEO roadmap, and delivering tangible work that the customer team can use immediately.

We are hiring a founding team of SEO/AEO strategists to expand this function. This role is hands-on and output-driven, owning scoped deliverables for customers who have purchased expanded services. You’ll be a specialized resource that our Strategic Account Managers leverage as an SME and partner.

What You’ll Do:
  • Embed with accounts where expanded services have been sold (for example, customers who need dedicated delivery support beyond the core platform).

  • Own specific deliverables end-to-end, such as:

    • SEO and AEO roadmaps

    • Content workflows

    • Content audits

    • Keyword strategy

    • Design and structure recommendations

  • Run ongoing engagement calls, align stakeholders, and drive work forward with clear outputs each week.

  • Partner with Sales on pre-sell conversations where deep SEO and AEO expertise is needed to close.

  • Reduce load on senior strategy team members by independently owning delivery and execution inside defined engagement scope.

Qualifications:Required
  • Deep, hands-on experience delivering enterprise SEO and AEO work, with an ability to translate analysis into clear priorities and roadmap decisions.

  • You can do the work, not just talk about it, and you have opinions that hold up with enterprise marketing, content, and design teams.

  • Experience owning client-facing deliverables end-to-end, with a track record of shipping real outputs on a timeline.

  • Strong facilitation and communication skills: running calls, driving alignment, and turning ambiguity into clear next steps.

  • Comfort operating at senior level. You can go deep with practitioners and communicate clearly with leadership when needed.

Preferred
  • Experience as a senior SEO or AEO strategist at a digital agency serving enterprise accounts.

  • Experience as an in-house Head of SEO or Senior Content Strategist.

Our Guiding Principles
  1. Extreme Ownership

  2. Quality

  3. Curiosity and Play

  4. Make Our Customers Heroes

  5. Respectful Candor

Benefits
  • Equity in a fast-growing startup

  • Competitive benefits package tailored to your location

  • Flexible time off policy

  • Parental Leave

  • A fun-loving and (just a bit) nerdy team that loves to move fast!
