The Engineer, OEM Product Test is responsible for verifying and documenting the successful integration of Masimo technologies into OEM partner devices. This role works closely with internal engineering teams and OEM partners to support testing, troubleshoot integration issues, and ensure technologies are thoroughly verified and ready for deployment.


The position reports to the Manager, OEM Technology Deployment and is part of the OEM Engineering department located in Irvine, CA and will be an on-site role.


In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To:


  • Execute formal verification and validation (V&V) testing for assigned OEM devices.
  • Collaborate with OEM Engineering and Deployment Test teams to develop, maintain, and improve documentation, test protocols, and testing tools for new features and technologies.
  • Support pre-V&V activities for incoming OEM devices, working directly with OEM partners and business teams to manage schedules, identify discrepancies, and drive timely resolution.
  • Participate in technical discussions, troubleshoot integration issues, and proactively improve testing and verification processes.

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include:

 

  • B.S. Degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with engineers, OEM partners, and customers in a technical environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly document technical information and test results.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to proactively troubleshoot both process-related and customer-specific implementation issues.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project timelines in a fast-paced environment.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

 

  • Experience with medical device verification and validation processes.
  • Experience working with OEM partners or supporting technology integration and deployment.
  • Familiarity with physiological monitoring technologies and medical device testing.

The annual salary range for this role is $70,000 - $100,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. 


This job is also eligible for up to a 10% annual bonus.


We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
