Your Responsibilities

As Engineering Program Manager, you will use your extensive leadership experience to lead and deliver our most complex multi-disciplinary automation programs from start to finish. You will work with mechanical, electrical and software discipline leaders to identify and manage critical cross-functional dependencies so that committed dates and performance are met.
In this role you will:


  • Own on-time delivery of high-impact programs with committed functionality and performance targets
  • Develop and maintain structured program plans (WBS, critical path, risk register) and implement efficient estimation frameworks
  • Protect scope integrity while maintaining schedule commitments
  • Serve as the principal program owner, orchestrating cross-disciplinary teams to successful delivery
  • Ensure alignment on scope, requirements, and ownership
  • Proactively identify risks and implement mitigations before schedule impact
  • Build and communicate clear milestone plans; provide visibility when programs trend off course
  • Establish measurable KPIs and reporting systems for estimation accuracy, scope integrity, delivery velocity, and execution quality

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Embedded, Systems, Software) or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years leading complex, cross-functional(hardware + software) technical programs (automation, capital equipment, construction, or systems integration preferred)
  • Strong understanding of hardware development lifecycles (prototype, validation, production release)
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple parallel technical workstreams
  • Comfortable driving alignment and holding stakeholders accountable across all levels of the organization
  • Pragmatic user of project management tools, including Jira and Gantt-based scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, etc)

Bonus Skills

  • Jira administration experience, including workflow configuration and relevant plug-ins
  • Not afraid of robots

  • The salary range for this position is $120,000- $160,000 plus stock and benefits. Exact pay within the range is based on candidate experience and relevant job-specific skill.
