Engineering Support Specialist II

As an Engineering Support Specialist II here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will provide essential technical support to engineering teams, helping to ensure the successful completion of projects, tasks and the delivery of high-quality solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and contribute to continuous process improvements.
You will report directly to our Senior Mechanical Design Engineering Manager, and you’ll work out of our Tempe, AZ location on a hybrid work schedule.
This role is to support our Standards Engineering team, responsible and accountable for the enforcement of Honeywell Aerospace and Industry Standards, leading continuous improvement efforts including knowledge capture, design standards, standard hardware classification, tools and processes improvements.
 

•    Provide Standards Engineering technical support and guidance to engineering teams to resolve issues and improve project outcomes
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges and implement solutions
•    Assist in the development and implementation of processes to enhance support efficiency and effectiveness
 

YOU MUST HAVE
•    High school diploma or equivalent
•    2 or more years of experience in engineering support or related technical roles
•    Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
•    Proficiency with engineering support tools and software, including data analysis and documentation tools to support engineering teams effectively
•    Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions and improvements
•    Experience with CAD tools

WE VALUE
•    Associate or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
•    Experience utilizing Aerospace procedures, specifications and standards (Design Manuals, Quality documents, Aerospace Specs NAS/MS/AMS/ASTM) 
•    Experience utilizing Aerospace drawing requirements and industry drawing standards (ASME)
•    Some experience creating 3D models and detailed drawings in a CAD environment (NX preferred)
•    Some experience collaborating in a product data management system (Teamcenter preferred)
•    Ability to work independently, remotely and in a global environment
•    Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
 

Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.
