About the company
Our client is a fast-growing software company.
The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Own the full sales cycle for a software platform sold to large organizations, from finding prospects through signing contracts. You will be one of the first sales hires, reporting to the CEO, building senior-level relationships and helping shape how the sales function develops.
What you'll do
- Manage the complete sales process end to end, including sourcing, prospecting, consultative discovery and closing.
- Sell to senior executives such as operations and technology leaders at large enterprises.
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline against an annual quota, partnering with development reps who support sourcing.
- Make a clear economic case for moving away from established legacy tools to a modern platform.
- Travel about 10% of the time to meet customers in person across the US.
- Contribute ideas to leadership on how to take the offering to market and tailor the pitch for different industry segments.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of full-cycle sales experience, both sourcing and closing deals with C-suite buyers, with a record of meeting quota.
- Experience at a reputable, well-established startup.
- Technical understanding of automation, such as workflow automation, document processing or integration platforms.
- A consultative selling style: you dig into customer workflows and align solutions to executive priorities rather than selling transactionally.
- Comfort aligning with C-suite executives and closing deals in a long enterprise sales cycle.
- Willingness to travel about 10% for in-person customer meetings across the US.
Bonus points
- Background selling to regulated financial-sector buyers.
- Consulting experience doing technical implementations before moving into sales.
