About Bobyard

Construction is a multi-trillion-dollar industry that still estimates by hand. Contractors measure and count materials off drawings manually, which caps how many jobs they can bid. Bobyard uses computer vision and NLP to automate takeoffs and estimates, so contractors bid faster and win more work. We raised a $35M Series A led by 8VC, with participation from Primary and Pear, and we're growing fast.

About the role

You'll own a named book of business in one of our New Trades verticals (Plumbing, Electrical, Mechanical or Finishes), plus a named list of the largest General Contractors. These accounts run multiple offices, put new software through IT and procurement review, and expect you to understand how they bid. A dedicated SDR, a Sales Engineer and Customer Success work alongside you to land and expand your accounts. You'll report to the Enterprise Sales Manager, and this role is remote or onsite in San Francisco, with some travel to customer offices and events.

What you'll do

  • Build pipeline across your named list of enterprise contractors, running your own outbound strategy alongside a dedicated BDR

  • Run discovery and multi-threaded sales cycles with estimating and preconstruction department heads, VPs of Preconstruction and innovation leaders

  • Structure paid pilots with success criteria agreed up front, and convert them into annual agreements

  • Bring Sales Engineering, Customer Success and Product into deals early • Take deals through security, legal and procurement review to signature, and forecast them accurately

  • Expand landed accounts into additional offices, trades and teams alongside Customer Success

  • Share what you hear from customers with Product and Leadership to shape the roadmap

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years closing B2B SaaS deals against a quota, with a proven track record of running complex enterprise sales, and over achieving quota

  • 3+ years in Construction Tech or practical commercial construction experience

  • Startup experience building pipeline without a large support team

  • A record of closing multi-stakeholder deals on short cycles while managing many active opportunities

  • You run your own week, keep people informed without being asked, and work well with partners across functions

Nice to have

  • Experience selling to MEP, flooring or general contractors

  • Familiarity with estimating and takeoff workflows (Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Accubid, Procore)

  • MEDDPICC or a similar qualification framework

What we offer

Cash for stability. Bonus for performance. Equity for ownership. Your package reflects your role, your experience, and what you deliver, and it grows as you do.

  • $250,000- $300,000 OTE (base + uncapped commission) + 0.03%–0.05% equity.

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage

  • 401(k) with a 100% match up to 4%

  • Remote in the following states (UT, TX, FL, VA, DC, CO, PA, AZ, MI, WA, GA, ID, OR) or in our San Francisco office (101 2nd Street) 4 days a week

  • Occasional travel to customers and industry events
