About OneSchema

More than 90% of all the enterprise data in the world lives in unstructured data, be it spreadsheets, PDFs, or documents. We see an incredible opportunity to be the AI document automation platform to eliminate the manual data entry work that persists across thousands of large enterprises today. We are a fast-growing startup backed by General Catalyst, Sequoia Capital, and Y Combinator. Our customers range from publicly traded companies (Toast, Dayforce) to fast-growing startups (Ramp, Vanta).

We have an ambitious, intense, fast-paced culture at OneSchema. As a rapidly growing venture-backed startup, every team member has the chance to have a major impact on our business. The ability to operate autonomously is an absolute must. With this level of autonomy, you’ll have the chance to learn in one week what it would take months to learn elsewhere.

About the Role

As an Enterprise BDR, you'll play a pivotal role not only in traditional BDR tasks but also in shaping our strategic direction while modeling the path from BDR. This includes building out playbooks, fostering collaboration across growth, marketing, sales, and product teams, and contributing to the foundation of our sales strategies.

This role is for an ambitious individual with hustle and grit. At an early-stage startup, things are always changing. We’re looking for a candidate who thrives in an unpredictable environment and can “run through walls” to tackle seemingly impossible challenges.

The learning and growth opportunities in the role are immense. You’ll be a part of the first BDR team and have influence in the direction we grow. We have a collaborative, fast-paced work culture. If you’re energized by the chance to have ownership and influence over a new and growing sales function, then we would love to talk to you.

Our BDR culture is in-person, and this role will be based in our SF HQ office 5x per week.

What You’ll Do
  • Source new sales opportunities mainly through outbound strategy

  • A/B test messaging and generate ideas for new ways to drive pipeline

  • Become a product expert across our entire platform and understand our competitor landscape

  • Maintain and update accurate records in CRM

What You Need
  • 1+ years of experience in a sales, SDR, BDR, or outbound prospecting role (enterprise experience is preferred)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Sense of entrepreneurship: a self-starter with a track record of hitting and exceeding pipeline goals

  • Ability to work within undefined and unrefined processes

  • Deep interest in understanding business challenges and how to solve them

  • Experience with Sales Engagement tools (Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.)

  • High level of comfort with sales, prospecting and marketing tools & processes

Nice to Haves
  • Prior experience with customer-facing and/or sales roles

  • Experience at a high-growth startup

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year university

OneSchema Compensation & Benefits
  • OTE: $100,000 - $125,000 (base + commission) depending on experience

  • Competitive compensation with meaningful stock options

  • Medical, Dental and Vision plans

  • Daily lunch in office

  • Monthly commuter cost reimbursement

  • 401k

  • Unlimited PTO and sick days

  • Parental leave

  • Quarterly wellness budget

What you need to know about the San Francisco Tech Scene

San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area attracts more startup funding than any other region in the world. Home to Stanford University and UC Berkeley, leading VC firms and several of the world’s most valuable companies, the Bay Area is the place to go for anyone looking to make it big in the tech industry. That said, San Francisco has a lot to offer beyond technology thanks to a thriving art and music scene, excellent food and a short drive to several of the country’s most beautiful recreational areas.

Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 365,500; 13.9% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
