Nexaminds is looking for an Enterprise Data Modeler to lead the development of enterprise and domain data models that will serve as the foundation of a strategic enterprise data transformation program. In this role, you will create and maintain Enterprise Business Data Models, Canonical Data Models, Logical Data Models, Physical Data Models, and Domain Data Models across prioritized business domains. You will not only establish core data structures, but also facilitate cross-functional alignment, drive data governance integration, and bridge the gap between business definitions and modern cloud data solutions

Requirements:

  • Deep Expertise in Enterprise Data Modeling: Proven mastery in designing, maintaining, and scaling Conceptual, Canonical, Logical, Physical, and Domain-Driven Data Models aligned with Data Architecture principles.
  • 5+ years of experience working within the healthcare, health insurance, or healthcare technology industry.
  • Strong Business Domain & Facilitation Experience: Exceptional background in translating complex business concepts into resilient data models, conducting business process analysis, leading discovery workshops, and building unified business glossaries.
  • Enterprise Transformation Track Record: Experience driving large-scale enterprise data transformation programs, building durable data models grounded in business operations rather than simply mimicking source system structures.
  • Data Management & Governance Alignment: Strong working knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM), Metadata Management, Data Governance, Data Quality, and Data Lineage concepts.
  • Modern Data Platform Experience: Hands-on exposure to Cloud Data Platforms, Data Lakehouse Architectures (e.g., Databricks or similar platforms), and Data Product concepts.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership: Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional leadership, facilitate alignment between technical and business teams, and champion data stewardship..

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, architecture, and maintenance of the Enterprise Business Data Model and phased Domain Data Models aligned to enterprise standards.
  • Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to discover requirements, define core business entities, and establish canonical data structures across domains.
  • Drive data model alignment with enterprise governance, metadata management, MDM, analytics, AI, and reporting initiatives.
  • Support technical implementation and engineering teams in translating conceptual and business data models into scalable physical data solutions.
  • Facilitate cross-functional workshops to resolve data definition ambiguity and establish unified business glossaries and data stewardship practices.
  • Serve as the domain architecture lead ensuring data models deliver high availability, long-term durability, and flexibility for modern analytics platforms
