About AIUC

Our mission is to underwrite superintelligence. We red-team, certify, and insure agents, e.g. ElevenLabs, UiPath, Intercom. Soon, agents will take on critical work in hospitals, banks and governments. This could create abundance - or go terribly wrong. History teaches us that standards and insurance are capitalism’s best tools for making risk legible and shaping incentives. We’ve built the gold standard for agent security & reliability, AIUC-1, with 100+ CISOs from the Fortune 1000. Our team comes from Anthropic, McKinsey, METR, Weights & Biases, Perplexity, Thiel Fellowship, etc. We've raised $55m from investors like Ribbit, First Harmonic and Nat Friedman. Read more here, here, and here.

The role

Enterprises are under extreme pressure to adopt AI but they all face a security challenge - CISOs understandably worry about "how do I know this AI agent is secure, safe, and reliable?".

We see this in our work daily: we now have 250+ security & risk leaders in the AIUC-1 consortium excited to shape the standard that they and others can use to answer this question.

Many of these enterprises are pursuing AIUC-1 certification themselves – either for their internally built AI agents, or for agents built by vendors deployed in their environment.

We’re hiring a founding enterprise lead to help us build and deepen these enterprise partnerships & drive adoption of AIUC-1. This is a novel opportunity, and in practice you will:

  • Lead discovery with enterprises — understanding how each enterprise assesses AI vendor risk

  • Work closely with our founders to shape and run experiments for the GTM approach and AIUC-1 that meets the needs of enterprise CISOs

  • Own and grow our portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts — from first conversation through to signed partnership

  • Explore deepening in specific verticals eg Financial Services, building on the core AIUC-1 to meet the regulatory and business needs of these enterprises

What we're looking for

You’ll work with CISOs, General Counsels, and Chief AI Officers at Fortune 500 companies. They are senior leaders under enormous pressure to get AI adoption right. You need to be able to hold peer-like conversations with them to shape how they view this problem.

You will spend as much time thinking as you will in front of executives — building hypotheses, structuring the product, tailoring the messaging. The person who thrives here has done exactly this kind of work before, just with a different brief.

To be successful, we think you have:

  • 7-10 years of experience, likely at top consulting firm where you have led clients through complex, novel engagements

  • Comfort with long, ambiguous cycles requiring deep discovery, multithreading and resilience

  • Executive presence, and the ability to communicate a compelling narrative to senior stakeholders

  • Plus: 1–2+ years in a commercial, BD, or strategic accounts role OR experience as a founder

Compensation & perks
  • Annual salary as above

  • Equity is a significant part of total compensation, in addition to salary

  • Generous health, dental and vision insurance for you and your dependents

  • Visa sponsorship and relocation stipend to bring you to SF, if possible

  • A team dedicated to doing our lives’ best work.

Our values

Strong Back - High standards, keep our promises, work hard

Fast Feet - Experiment, cut scope, take delight in pace

Eyes Up - ‘Feel the AGI’ across our strategy, teams and day-to-day work

Open Heart - Say the scary thing, create connection, make room for emotions
