The Sr. Solutions Architect at ServiceTitan serves as a trusted technical and business advisor to our customers, translating complex operational requirements into scalable, best-practice solutions within the ServiceTitan platform. This role bridges business process design, technical configuration, and customer outcomes, ensuring customers achieve measurable value and long-term success.

Solutions Architects partner closely with Customer Success, Implementation, Product, Sales, and Engineering teams to design, validate, and optimize customer architectures that support growth, efficiency, and adoption across trades.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Architecture & Solution Design

  • Identify high-friction steps in our own delivery process and own the fix, from intake workbook redesign to repeatable SBET build patterns to automated tenant validation.

  • Build internal tools, scripts, and templates that reduce setup time implementations.

  • Ensure solutions follow ServiceTitan best practices while balancing customer-specific requirements

  • Maintain a living backlog of automation opportunities sourced from EIC, SDM, and customer feedback, and drive the highest impact items to done.

  • Contribute to the team's shared library of reusable solutioning artifacts, including form JSON patterns, formula references, and tenant-level configuration best practices.

  • Coach EICs through technical decisions, especially on integrations, custom fields, automations, and reporting design.

  • Escalate platform gaps to Product with clear reproductions, customer impact, and proposed designs, not just complaints.

Customer Advisory & Enablement

  • Lead technical discovery and architecture discussions with executive, operational, and technical stakeholders

  • Clearly articulate trade-offs, risks, and recommendations in a way that builds trust and drives alignment

  • Support customers through change management by guiding adoption and future-state design

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Implementation and Customer Success teams during onboarding, optimization, and expansion phases

  • Provide architectural guidance to Sales during complex pre-sales or upsell motions

  • Serve as a feedback loop to Product and Engineering by identifying recurring gaps and opportunities

Governance & Documentation

  • Create and maintain solution documentation, diagrams, and decision logs

  • Ensure solutions are scalable, supportable, and aligned with internal standards

  • Identify risks early and proactively recommend mitigation strategies

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in:

    • Solutions Architecture, Technical Consulting, Systems Design, or Implementation roles

  • Experience designing and supporting SaaS platforms with complex business logic

  • Strong understanding of service-based or field service businesses (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Roofing, or similar)

  • Proven ability to translate business needs into technical solutions

  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Ability to travel onsite to customers 30-40%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with ServiceTitan (implementation, configuration, or administration)

  • Experience with:

    • ERP / FSM systems

    • API-based integrations

    • Accounting systems (QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite)

  • Background in customer success, professional services, or enterprise SaaS

  • Familiarity with data modeling, reporting, and analytics concepts
