Responsibilities
Equipment Operation & Maintenance
  • Operate, monitor, and maintain manufacturing equipment to achieve production goals.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance (PM) activities according to established schedules.
  • Conduct equipment inspections and health checks to identify potential issues before failures occur.
  • Assist in equipment setup, qualification, conversion, and recovery activities.

Troubleshooting & Problem Solving
  • Troubleshoot equipment-related issues and perform corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  • Utilize problem-solving methodologies and available tools to identify root causes.
  • Escalate complex equipment issues to engineers when required.
  • Support implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Quality & Process Support
  • Ensure equipment operates within specification and meets quality requirements.
  • Support engineering activities, trials, and qualifications.
  • Assist in collecting and analyzing equipment data for process improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance and equipment records.

Continuous Improvement
  • Participate in equipment improvement projects to enhance reliability, productivity, and cost effectiveness.
  • Support implementation of new tools, processes, and best practices.
  • Contribute ideas for continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence programs.

Safety & Compliance
  • Adhere to all safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOP), work instructions, and cleanroom protocols.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and report potential risks or hazards.

AI & Digital Skills Requirement
  • Basic proficiency in AI and digital tools for data analysis, troubleshooting, reporting, and process improvement.
  • Experience using AI-assisted productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Power BI) is an added advantage.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automated equipment systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willing to work in a shift environment.
