We are looking for a Trial Conversion Specialist responsible for managing the customer trial experience from initial engagement through conversion to a paid subscription.

This role focuses on building relationships with prospective customers, providing exceptional product guidance and training, and helping customers identify the best solutions for their business needs. By partnering closely with Customer Success, Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams, this position plays a critical role in driving customer adoption, increasing trial-to-paid conversion rates, and improving long-term customer retention.

This role includes a variable compensation plan tied to new SaaS customer conversions, rewarding individuals who consistently achieve and exceed trial-to-paid conversion goals while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a high-volume pipeline of trial customers, prioritizing outreach and engagement to maximize conversion opportunities.

  • Guide trial users from their first roof measurement through the complete sales workflow, including building an estimate, generating and electronically signing a contract, offering financing options, and collecting payment.

  • Identify customer goals, workflows, and business needs to recommend the plan that best aligns with their budget and required features.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor by helping customers solve challenges and achieve their desired outcomes using the software.

  • Communicate with trial customers via phone, email, and text to answer questions, provide product guidance, and maintain engagement throughout the trial period.

  • Conduct personalized software demonstrations, product tours, and general training sessions to ensure customers understand the value and capabilities of the platform.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to increase customer adoption of key product features that drive conversion and long-term success.

  • Partner with the Marketing, Product and Engineering teams, advocating for customer priorities by providing feedback and insights.

  • Success in this role will be measured by key performance metrics, including new SaaS activation rate, trial-to-paid conversion rate, and 30- and 90-day customer retention.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in sales, customer success, account management, software training, or a related customer-facing role. Inside sales, Sales Development (SDR), Business Development (BDR), or another high-volume, customer-facing role is strongly preferred.

  • Experience working collaboratively across Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams is preferred.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first mindset.

  • Strong presentation and software demonstration skills.

  • Ability to build rapport quickly and confidently guide customers through the buying process.

  • Comfortable managing multiple customer conversations and priorities simultaneously.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.

  • Salesforce and Customer Success tooling experience
