This is more than a traditional administrative role—you'll play a key part in helping shape team rhythms, coordinating strategic priorities, and ensuring seamless execution across a growing biotech company.  You are a culture ambassador/champion who enjoys being the organizational glue, event strategist, and culture catalyst behind a growing company's employee experience.

  • Serve as a trusted liaison for communications, approvals, and follow-up actions, ensuring priorities move forward efficiently.
  • Manage the CHRO's complex calendar, prioritizing activities and proactively resolving scheduling conflicts.
  • Play a lead role in the planning and execution of company events and employee experiences, including town halls, team offsites, cultural celebrations, recognition events, holiday gatherings, volunteer activities, and other employee engagement programs.
  • Serve as a culture champion, helping foster a positive, inclusive, and connected workplace by supporting programs and initiatives that enhance the employee experience and bring Nurix values to life.
  • Manage expense reports, purchase orders, and administrative processes while leveraging tools such as Microsoft 365, Copilot, SharePoint, and other business systems.
  • Build strong partnerships across the organization and collaborate with fellow Executive Assistants to support a connected, high-performing culture.
  • Contribute to special projects and strategic initiatives that help advance HR and company objectives.
  • Arrange domestic and international travel, build detailed itineraries, and navigate changes seamlessly when plans shift.

What You Bring

  • 8+ years of experience supporting senior executives, ideally at the C-suite level.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Fluency with AI tools (Claude and Copilot in particular)
  • Proven experience planning and executing onsite and offsite events, ranging from executive meetings and team offsites to large-scale company gatherings and employee engagement programs.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events, stakeholders, vendor relationships, budgets, and timelines simultaneously.
  • A demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with the highest level of discretion and integrity.
  • Bachelor's degree is a plus.
  • Strong judgment, emotional intelligence, and professionalism when navigating complex situations and competing priorities.
  • Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate needs before they arise.
  • An enthusiastic, positive, and approachable presence with a genuine passion for creating exceptional employee experiences and fostering an engaging workplace culture.
  • A collaborative, service-oriented mindset, balanced with confidence working independently.
  • Experience building effective relationships with executives, employees, external partners, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • A natural culture builder who enjoys bringing people together, creating memorable experiences, and contributing to a fun, inclusive, and high-performing work environment.
  • Experience supporting executives within a biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life sciences organization is a plus.
