About Us

We're Queue, the world's first fully autonomous robotic pharmacy. We go from sealed wholesale bottles to filled, verified prescription vials with zero human involvement.

We built Queue because no one should ever have to wait in line for the medicines they need. One in three US pharmacies has shut down. Pharmacists are overworked to a breaking point. And patients are paying the price. Queue fixes that. Pharmacists get to practice pharmacy again — counseling patients, catching interactions, doing the work only they can do. And patients get their prescriptions in 60 seconds or less, any time, anywhere.

We’re backed by over $18 million from Alleycorp, Riot Ventures, Ubiquity Ventures, House Capital, and others who believe the pharmacy system is broken and that robotics can fix it. Queue was founded by Nick Desai (6x founder, previously CEO of Heal) and Joshua Liu (previously Tesla, Waymo, and Zipline).

About the Role

We're looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant and Office Manager who thrives in fast-paced, high-ambiguity environments. You'll be the operational backbone of our Newark office — keeping founders focused, the team running smoothly, and the office humming. You'll wear many hats, switch gears constantly, and take pride in making things happen before anyone else realizes they need to.

This is not a role for someone who needs a lot of direction. We want someone who sees what needs to get done and does it.

Executive Support

  • Manage complex calendars, scheduling, and travel for the CEO and leadership team

  • Prepare materials and agendas for meetings with investors, partners, and customers

  • Anticipate needs and proactively remove friction from the founders' days

Office Management

  • Own day-to-day operations — supplies, vendors, facilities, and everything in between

  • Create a welcoming, organized environment that helps the team do their best work

  • Coordinate team events, off-sites, and culture moments

People & Operations

  • Support onboarding for new hires and recruiting coordination

  • Help track action items and cross-functional follow-through

Required Qualifications and Experiences

  • Exceptionally organized, but fluid when plans change

  • Resourceful — you figure things out, you don't wait to be told how

  • Calm under pressure with a bias toward action

  • Discreet and trustworthy with sensitive information

  • A clear, confident communicator

  • 3+ years in an EA, office management, or operations role; startup experience a strong plus

How We Hire

  • Recruiter Screen: (30 min)

  • Leadership Interview: (30 min)

  • Leadership Interview: (45 min)

  • Leadership Interview: (45 min)

What We Offer

  • Meaningful work — Your contributions directly shape how the company operates at the highest level

  • Lean, empowered environment — No red tape, no layers of approval; you'll have real ownership and the trust to get things done

  • Complexity that keeps you sharp — You'll work at the intersection of fast-moving technology, mission-critical operations, and highly regulated industries — no two days the same

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary

  • Meaningful early-stage equity

  • Health, 401(k), unlimited PTO

Why Join Us Now?

  • Impact & Growth

    • Direct Patient Impact: Your work will improve healthcare outcomes for millions of patients

    • Market Leadership: Ground-floor opportunity to define an entirely new category of healthcare technology

    • Technical Innovation: Work on genuinely novel problems at the intersection of AI, robotics, and healthcare

    • Career Acceleration: High-visibility role with significant growth potential as the company scales

  • Team and Culture

    • World-Class Team: Work alongside exceptional engineers, AI researchers, and healthcare experts

    • Reports to the CEO with significant autonomy and influence

    • Innovation Focus: Culture that prioritizes breakthrough thinking and rapid experimentation

    • Mission-Driven: Team united around the goal of transforming healthcare through technology

Our Values

  • Servant Leadership: Make those around you better. We serve our teams the way Queue serves communities: 4,000 pharmacies close each year and deserts are spreading - we’re here to reverse that.

  • Do the Hard Things: Healthcare, hardware, and company-building are all hard. We do them anyway. Convenience for us is life-changing for those we serve.

  • Own Your Work: Be accountable; take pride in what you ship. Queue lives and dies by what you do - own it fully.

  • Default is Now: There’s never a better time than today. Default to action: what can we prove, learn, or simplify right now?

What you need to know about the San Francisco Tech Scene

San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area attracts more startup funding than any other region in the world. Home to Stanford University and UC Berkeley, leading VC firms and several of the world’s most valuable companies, the Bay Area is the place to go for anyone looking to make it big in the tech industry. That said, San Francisco has a lot to offer beyond technology thanks to a thriving art and music scene, excellent food and a short drive to several of the country’s most beautiful recreational areas.

Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 365,500; 13.9% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, Greylock Partners, Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins
  • Research Centers and Universities: Stanford University; University of California, Berkeley; University of San Francisco; Santa Clara University; Ames Research Center; Center for AI Safety; California Institute for Regenerative Medicine
