Who we are

Odyssey is an AI lab pioneering general world models: causal, multimodal systems that learn to predict and interact with the world over long horizons. This foundational technology promises to revolutionize robotics, science, healthcare, education, gaming, defense, and beyond.

Odyssey’s founders previously pioneered the most complex application of physical AI: self-driving cars. They’ve now brought together a world-class research team from DeepMind, Tesla, Waymo, Meta, Apple, and Wayve, who have made significant contributions to language models (DeepMind Gemini), video models (DeepMind Veo), world models (Wayve GAIA), and autonomous systems (Tesla FSD).

Odyssey has raised significant venture capital from GV, Amazon, AMD, EQT, NVIDIA, Natural Capital, In-Q-Tel, Elad Gil, Jeff Dean, Guillermo Rauch, Garry Tan, Kyle Vogt, and researchers from OpenAI, DeepMind, MSL, Recursive, and Thinking Machines.

What we're looking for

Odyssey is seeking someone to support our leadership team across executive logistics, office operations, and day-to-day execution. This is a hands-on, high-trust role for someone who is fast-moving, highly organized, low-ego, and energized by making executives, teams, and offices more effective. You will serve as the CEO’s go-to person for all things logistics & execution. You will also own Palo Alto office operations while the team is small, including running the day-to-day experience of our Palo Alto office, making sure it is warm, organized, visitor-ready, and a place where people genuinely want to work.

This is a front-row seat to company-building at a frontier AI company. You will work closely with the CEO and Chief of Staff, build the operating systems that help the company scale, and become the trusted person who turns ambiguity into completed work.

This role is based in Palo Alto and requires in-person attendance at our office five days per week.

What you'll do
  • Manage calendars, scheduling, and logistics for the CEO and CTO, including board meetings, investor meetings, high-priority external engagements, and travel.

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with a wide range of audiences, including investors, board members, executives, and team members.

  • Manage execution for events, conferences, board meetings, including venues, catering, AV, materials, and overall experience.

  • Own day-to-day office operations, including food, supplies, vendors, facilities, visitor experience, and general office readiness.

  • Partner with the Chief of Staff to keep leadership rhythms running smoothly, tracking action items and ensuring follow-through across priority workstreams.

  • Take on special projects and critical operational needs as they arise, bringing energy, structure, and ownership.

Who you are
  • 5+ years of experience in an executive support role or similar function, including direct support for a founder, CEO, or C-level executive.

  • Experience working in a high-growth startup or similarly fast-moving environment.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high bar for quality.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences.

  • High degree of professionalism, judgment, and discretion.

  • Genuine interest in the technology Odyssey is building and the transformative potential of world models.

  • Experience using AI tools to make your own workflows faster, sharper, and more efficient.
