About Alljoined

Alljoined is creating a future where humans are fully understood and augmented by technology. Our work solves the communication bottleneck between humans and computers by decoding thoughts from the brain, entirely non-invasively. We apply deep learning research to large-scale EEG datasets to decode multimedia input, eventually moving to internal thought. We are state-of-the-art in our capabilities and fully vertically integrated. Our goal is to develop a general consumer interface that completely transforms how we live our lives.

We are actively growing our world-class team of researchers and operators to build the next interface to improve individual lives and the well-being of society as a whole.

About the Role

As an Office Manager & Operations Assistant, you will take ownership of our day-to-day office and facility operations and help keep the company running smoothly across a range of administrative and operational needs.

You will be responsible for making sure our San Francisco office is well-run, organized, stocked, and set up to support our team. This includes managing day-to-day workplace needs, coordinating with vendors, and proactively identifying and resolving issues as they arise. Beyond the office, you will work closely with our Operations Lead to support a range of administrative and operational tasks and workflows across the company, from helping with events, onboarding, purchases, and team logistics to tackling other ad hoc needs as they come up.

This is a unique opportunity to work closely with a technical founder and Operations Lead at an early-stage deep-tech company and gain a front-row seat to how a frontier AI and neurotechnology company is built. You will collaborate with the Operations Lead and broader team to anticipate needs, reduce friction, and develop lightweight systems that make the company more effective.

This is an in-office, part-time role based in San Francisco, starting at approximately 10 hours per week, with the potential to expand in hours and grow into a full-time position over time.

About You
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in office management, operations, administrative support, hospitality, customer service, or startup support.

  • High ownership, strong follow-through, and the ability to notice what needs to be done and take initiative without waiting to be told every next step.

  • Highly organized and reliable, with strong attention to detail and the ability to keep track of multiple ongoing needs.

  • Resourceful and comfortable figuring out solutions to new or unexpected problems.

  • Strong judgment, written communication, and discretion when handling confidential or sensitive information.

  • Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment where priorities and needs may change quickly.

  • A proactive, low-ego approach and a strong service orientation.

  • The ability to take broad objectives and turn them into practical systems, processes, and solutions.

  • Excellent organizational and logistical skills across office operations, team logistics, events, onboarding, and other administrative and operational needs.

  • Excitement about AI, neuroscience, brain-computer interfaces, or other frontier technologies!

  • Willingness and ability to work from our San Francisco office approximately 10 hours per week, spread across multiple days during the workweek.

Experience in office management, facilities, operations, or at an early-stage startup is a plus. Familiarity with tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, Linear, and Ashby is also helpful.
