About Us

Conversion is building the AI-native marketing automation platform for modern software companies. Today, marketing is stitched together from outdated software, enrichment tools, and disconnected workflows. Funnels are broken. Messaging is misaligned. Most teams are flying blind.

We’re fixing that. Conversion lets growth teams build and automate their entire go-to-market motion in one place. From acquisition to activation to retention, it’s all managed in a single interface: fast, personalized, and powered by AI.

We’ve raised over $28 million from top firms such as Abstract Ventures, True Ventures, and HOF Capital. We’re at $5M+ ARR, growing quickly, and powering go-to-market for 4000+ customers.

We’re a lean, high-performing team in San Francisco. If you’re excited about building creative, modern, product-led marketing and doing your best work alongside world-class teammates; we’d love to meet you.

  • Over $28M in funding

  • $0 to $6M ARR in under 12 months, 4000+ customers

  • Elite team from Airbnb, Palantir, Pinterest, IMC Trading, Shopify, Linkedin, Microsoft, and more

About the Role

Hey there! Neil here 👋, co-founder and CEO at Conversion. Just wanted to share my thoughts on the perfect candidate we're looking for in our first PWGSD (Person Who Gets Shit Done).

Here at Conversion, we are a very tight-knit group of individuals who are hungry to win, but ultimately love our work because of how collaborative, creative, and purpose-driven it is.

We’re looking for someone who will uphold this energetic, all-hands-on-deck culture, and empower our team by tackling whatever task moves us forward.

As our first PWGSD, you’ll wear many hats and help shape the next chapter of our growth. Be prepared for a variety of challenges, from building out recruiting pipelines alongside the founders, to hosting our next team offsite, to scouting the next great office we’ll call home!

If you thrive in fast-paced environments, love solving problems, and want to grow alongside a team that celebrates wins big and small, we’d love to meet you.

This role is in-person 5 days/week in San Francisco.

What You'll Do:
  • Manage and prioritize the founders’ calendars, meetings, and communication so time is spent on what matters most

  • Coordinate across internal and external stakeholders, from candidates and customers to investors and partners

  • Own logistics for candidate travel, offsites, and events from start to finish

  • Partner on key company projects such as recruiting, office expansions, and culture initiatives

  • Anticipate needs, remove roadblocks, and keep priorities moving without waiting for direction

  • Take ownership of follow-through on critical decisions and ensure action items are completed

  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism

  • Jump in on special projects that don’t fit neatly into a function but are essential for company momentum

You Might Be a Great Fit If You:
  • Thrive in working in a fast paced environment that's constantly changing

  • Are highly organized and a meticulous planner

  • Love hosting fun events and fostering a culture where our team loves showing up each and every day

  • Believe that no task is beneath you, especially if it's vital for the business

  • Think of yourself as a "firefighter," putting out whatever is on fire at the current moment

San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area attracts more startup funding than any other region in the world. Home to Stanford University and UC Berkeley, leading VC firms and several of the world’s most valuable companies, the Bay Area is the place to go for anyone looking to make it big in the tech industry. Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 365,500; 13.9% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, Greylock Partners, Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins
