Drive commercial banking growth across Pittsburgh by acquiring and expanding middle-market client relationships. Advise CEOs, CFOs, business owners, and sponsors; structure lending, treasury, real estate financing, and other banking solutions; coordinate credit and product partners; manage pipelines; and represent Wells Fargo in the business community.
Wells Fargo is seeking an Executive Director, Principal Commercial Banking Relationship Manager to drive growth across the Pittsburgh market within our Middle Market Banking segment, serving companies with annual revenues of $100 million to $500 million. This is an opportunity for an accomplished commercial banker with a strong presence in Pittsburgh to build deep client relationships, acquire new business, and serve as a trusted advisor to business owners, executives, and financial decision-makers. The successful candidate will leverage an established network and deep market knowledge to expand Wells Fargo's presence across the region while delivering the full breadth of the firm's commercial banking capabilities. Working closely with senior leaders, credit partners, and product specialists, this individual will help privately held, family-owned, and sponsor-backed businesses navigate growth initiatives, capital investments, acquisitions, liquidity management, and other strategic business objectives.

In this role you will:
- Develop and execute a market-driven growth strategy focused on acquiring and expanding relationships with Middle Market companies throughout Pittsburgh
- Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with CEOs, CFOs, business owners, private equity sponsors, and other key decision-makers
- Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, referral networks, centers of influence, industry associations, and community engagement
- Structure and deliver commercial banking solutions including cash flow lending, treasury management, commercial real estate financing, and other strategic banking products
- Lead relationship planning efforts and coordinate internal partners to deliver comprehensive client solutions
- Leverage the full capabilities of Wells Fargo to help clients achieve their growth, capital, and operational objectives
- Maintain strong pipeline management and sales discipline to drive consistent business development activity and revenue growth
- Provide market insight and client intelligence to support strategic initiatives across the Commercial Bank
- Represent Wells Fargo throughout the Pittsburgh business community and serve as a visible ambassador of the franchise
- 7+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Completion of a formal credit training program or equivalent commercial credit experience
- Proven success developing and growing commercial banking relationships with companies generating $100 million - $500 million in annual revenue
- Demonstrated ability to acquire new client relationships and deliver sustained revenue growth
- Established network of business owners, private equity professionals, attorneys, accountants, and other influential centers of influence throughout Pittsburgh
- Strong understanding of commercial lending, treasury management, and broader commercial banking solutions
- Ability to structure and discuss complex financing solutions with executive leadership teams
- Strong business development, negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills
- Experience partnering across product, credit, and risk organizations to deliver sophisticated client solutions
- Existing relationships across Pittsburgh with a strong understanding of the middle-market business landscape and competitive banking environment
- Ability to travel within assigned geographical territory
