Mercor is creating a new category of work where expertise powers AI advancement. Achieving this requires an ambitious, fast-paced and deeply committed team. You’ll work alongside researchers, operators, and AI companies at the forefront of shaping the systems that are redefining society. Mercor is a profitable Series C company valued at $10 billion. We work in-person five days a week in our San Francisco, NYC, or London offices.

About the Role

We’re looking for someone to join as Executive Operations, partnering directly with the GM of Growth to drive strategy, OKRs, and execution across product, growth, operations, and hiring. Unlike a Product Manager, who owns a defined roadmap and engineering delivery, this person flexes across whatever the Growth org needs — solving ambiguous problems, driving cross-functional initiatives, and filling gaps wherever they show up.

Key Responsibilities

  • You’ll lead high-impact, cross-functional initiatives and special projects, turning ambiguous ideas into structured plans and measurable outcomes

  • Establish operating rhythms and align teams across product, growth, marketing, and operations

  • Remove blockers and keep top priorities on track as the Growth org scales

  • Drive key workstreams across hiring and go-to-market

  • Act as a flexible strategic partner to the GM, jumping into whatever needs attention, whether that’s a stalled initiative or a tricky stakeholder conversation

  • Support stakeholder management across teams like Product, Marketing, Data, and Sales, keeping people aligned without formal authority.

What We’re Looking For

  • Four or more years of experience in operations, strategy, or consulting, ideally including prior experience as a Chief of Staff or similar role supporting a leader over an org of five or more people.

  • Highly analytical and execution-focused, thriving in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. Scrappy, with a strong bias to action — comfortable moving quickly from strategy to action with minimal direction.

  • Solution-oriented with sharp, PM-like instincts for structuring ambiguous problems, but energized by breadth rather than owning a single roadmap.

  • A strong communicator who can work across functions and with stakeholders, with a trustworthy, low-ego style.

Success in This Role Looks Like

Cross-functional initiatives move forward instead of stalling, and top priorities stay on track as the org scales. The GM has a trusted partner who can be handed an ambiguous problem and run with it. Stakeholders across the org see this person as a credible, capable proxy for the GM.

Benefits

  • Bi-annual performance bonus structure

  • Generous equity grant vested over 4 years

  • Up to $15k Relocation bonus

  • $10K housing bonus (if you live within 0.5 miles of our office)

  • $1.5K monthly stipend for meals

  • Free Equinox membership

  • $200 monthly laundry reimbursement

  • $200 monthly personal wellness reimbursement

  • Health, Dental, Vision insurance
