Lead and build Brand Creative production capability, personally produce major campaigns across film, photography, motion, experiential and digital, manage budgets, staffing, vendors, and timelines, establish production systems and agency networks, and partner with creative leadership to protect ambitious ideas and ensure high-quality delivery.
The summary above was generated by AI

In the early 1900s, Sergei Diaghilev transformed ballet by bringing together extraordinary artists across disciplines. He paired Stravinsky with Picasso, Coco Chanel with choreographers, composers with painters. He wasn’t the person on stage, but he created the conditions that made extraordinary work possible. Every production demanded creative ambition, difficult tradeoffs, relentless coordination, and uncompromising standards.

Great creative production feels a lot like that.

Mercury is building a financial company that people genuinely love to use. We’re combining thoughtful design, technology, and AI to make financial workflows simpler, more powerful, and more human. Our Brand Creative team exists to bring that ambition to life through everything we make.

We’re looking for our first Executive Producer to establish Creative Production as a core capability within Brand Creative. You’ll lead production across our most ambitious campaigns and projects while building the systems and external network that allow exceptional creative work to happen again and again.

You see production as a creative discipline. You know how to protect bold ideas, challenge underdeveloped briefs, make difficult tradeoffs, and bring clarity to complexity. This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who wants to build the function while still personally producing our biggest creative bets.

In this role, you’ll:
  • Own production across Brand Creative campaigns and projects, balancing priorities, capacity, staffing, budgets, timelines, and risk across multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Personally lead our most ambitious campaigns and selected projects from concept through delivery across film, photography, motion, experiential, digital, and integrated work.
  • Partner with creative leaders to turn ambitious ideas into production plans that hold up against timing, budget, and reality, challenging underdeveloped briefs and protecting the creative idea through execution.
  • Build and lead an exceptional network of agencies, directors, studios, photographers, freelancers, and production partners that expands our capacity without lowering the bar.
  • Establish how Brand Creative prioritizes, staffs, greenlights, reviews, and delivers projects, creating a production system that makes exceptional work more repeatable.
  • Bring clarity to complex projects by keeping creative leaders and cross-functional partners grounded in the real state of the work, decisions, constraints, tradeoffs, and risks.
  • Work directly with Brand Creative leadership to continually raise the quality of the work and build one of the strongest in-house creative teams in the industry.
What you’ll bring:
  • Significant experience leading complex, multidisciplinary creative production, with a track record of independently owning large-scale campaigns and multiple concurrent creative projects.
  • Deep production experience across film, photography, motion, experiential, digital, and integrated brand work, with the judgment to choose the right production model for the idea.
  • Strong financial and operational judgment, including experience with scoping, staffing, budgeting, forecasting, and managing meaningful production investments.
  • A track record of building production systems, capabilities, or ways of working, not simply operating within established ones.
  • Experience building and managing an exceptional network of agencies, production companies, directors, studios, freelancers, and vendors.
  • Strong creative judgment and the confidence to challenge briefs, protect ambitious ideas, and make difficult tradeoffs without losing sight of the work.
  • Exceptional communication and partnership skills across creative teams, marketers, executives, and external partners.
  • The ability to bring calm, clarity, and sound judgment to ambiguity. You're excited to build the function from the ground up and still want to personally produce the work.
