Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced Field Service Representative to support our F/A-18 Automated Maintenance Environment (FAME) program at Naval Air Station (NAS) Lemoore, California.
The FAME FSR shall provide technical research and guidance in the resolution of field problems related to the FAME suite of applications. Provide over-the-shoulder assistance and classroom training to personnel for all aspects of system operation. The FAME FSR shall participate in functional check of the FAME system for Ashore and Afloat F/A-18 squadrons. Assist the Navy/Marine Corp with the operation of Navy Aeronautical Technical Publications Library (ATPL) as it pertains to the PMA-260's Portable Electronic Maintenance Aide (PEMAs). Travel worldwide to assist in FAME training, troubleshooting and repair, as requested. Collect and provide data deliverables as necessary to maintain both internal program management requirements and contract delivery/report requirements. Develop and maintain a relationship with the Wing and squadrons as the first FAME point-of-contact for product maintenance and operational issues.

Field Operations employees may be required to relocate to another Field Operations location based on customer needs and/or management requirements.
Specific contracts supported by Field Operations could require employees to perform a deployment to a US DOD contingency operation. Employees associated with these specific contracts must be able to pass military contractor health standards for deployment.

Position Responsibilities:
- Work to fully integrate all program elements to assist the Navy/Marine Corps with maintaining the highest mission capable rates
- Improve customer satisfaction through frequent and open communication with all customer contacts, solicit feedback, and take corresponding action
- Rapidly respond and resolve customer support issues as the onsite FAME expert
- Technical support and systems oversight including site surveys, system installation, accountability, management visibility, software application, systems configuration management, systems connectivity, and troubleshooting
- Support Navy/Marine Corp customer with the operation of Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information System (NALCOMIS) and the configuration management of Naval Aircraft, associated components and support equipment
- Support the customer as they liaise with Information Technology personnel for LAN support within the F/A-18 platform to ensure the Automated Maintenance Environment (FAME) suite of applications is configured for server/client operations and is functioning properly
- Provide on-site training, including classroom and on-the-job-instruction, of FAME and publications to squadron personnel
- Lead classroom training as required by the Navy/Marine Corp customer. Training includes but is not limited to: Maintainers, Maintenance Control Maintenance Administration, Aircrew/Pilots, Central Technical Publications Librarians, and Quality Assurance
- Manage and maintain Boeing field offices and resources
- Troubleshoot FAME issues with the Navy/Marine Corp customers, interfacing with the Boeing FAME reps, software, systems engineering, help desk, and other functional teams as necessary to resolve issues
- Attend FAME Technical Interchange Meetings and FAME Fleet Technical Interchange Meetings as required
- Assist tenant squadrons with FAME events, such as Joint Test and Data Release Review, so bases may participate in quality reviews
- Provide expertise to squadrons on compliance with the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) 4790.D, the COMAVAIRFORINST 4790.23, and Computerized Self Evaluation Checklist
- Review, aggregate, and approve required company reports
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- At the sole discretion of leadership, must be willing and able (on potentially short-notice) to deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) and for a variety of deployment durations to meet customer needs and the statement of work. Unless compelling reasons exist, failure to deploy/travel will be considered as a resignation.
