Making the Metals Powering the World

Solcoa is building the next generation of American metalmaking, starting with rare earths — the metals of power and motion. We've developed a new chemistry that converts rare earth oxides into high-purity metals — the materials inside every EV, fighter jet, wind turbine, and data center — cleaner, cheaper, and faster than any conventional process. Now we're scaling it to thousands of tonnes of annual production.

The Role

As Finance & Accounting Manager at Solcoa, you will own day-to-day finance operations and ensure our financial data is accurate, consolidated, and delivered on time. A key part of your role will be providing our lenders with complete, reliable reporting and making sure information flows correctly between our operational systems, accounting records, and financial reports.

What You’ll Do
  • Prepare and deliver financial reports, data submissions, and supporting documentation to our lenders. Manage recurring deadlines, coordinate internal inputs, and respond to follow-up requests.

  • Bring together data across entities, bank accounts, and systems into a consistent, reconciled view of the business.

  • Oversee the flow of information between operational systems, accounting records, and reporting tools. Identify missing, duplicated, or inconsistent data and work with the relevant teams to resolve issues.

  • Validate figures against source records, reconcile balances, and ensure lender submissions and management reports are consistent with the underlying accounts.

  • Prepare regular financial and management reporting, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and supporting schedules, with clear explanations of material variances.

  • Track lender reporting requirements and support the preparation and verification of financial covenant calculations, where applicable.

  • Own day-to-day financial operations, including payment planning, payment coordination, and cash flow forecasting.

  • Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring payments, collections, and financial commitments are tracked and followed through.

  • Track budgets, actual spending, and operating expenses to support financial control and planning.

  • Coordinate with external accounting providers on bookkeeping, payroll, reconciliations, and month-end and year-end close.

  • Maintain organized financial records, reporting calendars, and supporting documentation so figures can be traced back to their source.

  • Build and improve processes, checks, and SOPs that keep financial information accurate and reporting dependable as the business grows.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive base salary.

  • Generous stock options.

  • Comprehensive medical, dental and vision insurance.

  • Company-provided lunch daily.

  • Visa sponsorship available if needed.
