What You Will Learn
- Build core communication skills for working cross-functionally across other Lowe's business units such as merchandising, supply chain, technology and other teams.
- How to interpret financial statements and key performance metrics, including variance analysis and forecasting.
- Interact with Lowe's executive leadership and gain exposure to key success factors.
- How to track performance across business units using reporting and dashboard tools.
- How finance departments support strategic business initiatives and priorities.
- Exposure to financial systems (such as Oracle) and industry leading tools for analysis and modeling.
Minimum Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field.
- Expected graduation dates of December 2027 or May 2028.
Preferred Skills/Experience
- 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- Proficient in MS Office programs (specifically in Power Point, Excel and data analysis tools).
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, problem solving, analytical, organizational and communication skills.
- Relevant internship and/or experience in finance or accounting is a plus.
- Experience in a leadership position at work or within a campus organization.
