We are looking for a high-agency finance professional to help build and scale our financial operations and reporting infrastructure. This role sits at the intersection of accounting, operations, and FP&A, and will be critical in ensuring data accuracy, improving financial processes, and enabling better decision-making as we grow. You will own core financial workflows (order-to-cash, inventory, reporting) while helping build the foundation for scalable planning and analysis.
What you’ll be doing:
Own and improve order to cash process, including inventory management, sales and collection along with the logistics and accounting teams
Ensure accuracy and completeness of data in internal systems (orders, returns, fulfillment) while reducing manual work
Partner with operations and logistics to improve inventory tracking
Support monthly close in partnership with external accounting firm, in particular AP, AR, and expense reimbursements
Help accelerate and improve the close process
Analyze monthly financials, research and report on variances to plan
Analyze revenue, COGS, OPEX, AR, AP, and inventory
Support budget planning through business partnership
Ad hoc financial analysis as needed
This role requires:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
8+ years of experience in accounting, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function
Experience with inventory accounting processes
Excellent Advanced Excel financial modeling skills
Experience with presenting to executive management
Comfortable working across accounting, operations and FP&A
Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity in a constantly evolving environment
High ownership mindset; able to operate independently in an evolving environment
Demonstrated ability to take ownership of tasks and results while holding yourself and others to high standards
Proven experience collaborating across disciplines and functions, recognizing that cross-functional partnership drives success
A bold, experimental mindset that embraces risk and thinks beyond current limitations
Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver honest, constructive feedback with both care and directness.
And some things that would be a huge bonus (but not necessarily required):
Experience in expense management and budget planning cycles
Hardware or inventory-heavy start-up experience helpful

Job Location

Compensation Target
$100,000 - $175,000 + meaningful equity, depending on experience
