Figure is an AI Robotics company developing a general purpose humanoid. Our humanoid robot, Figure 02, is designed for commercial tasks and the home. We are based in Sunnyvale, CA and require 5 days/week in-office collaboration. It’s time to build.

We are looking for a Finance Manager. In summary, the role will have responsibilities spread between FP&A and Strategic Finance. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Conduct budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support business objectives.
  • Strategic Finance: Provide data-driven financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership for strategic decision-making.
  • Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex financial models incorporating extensive data analysis.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various departments to understand their data needs and solve capital allocation problems using analytical methods.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive financial and data analytics reports to stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to financial processes through data analytics and automation.

Requirements: 

  • Education: Agnostic. A track record as a proactive self-learner is more important.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance roles, with a balanced background in FP&A, strategic finance, and data analysis.
  • Data Skills: Proficiency in SQL.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey complex financial and data concepts clearly.

Bonus Qualifications: 

  • Experience working in Deeptech e.g. AI.


The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $200,000 - $330,000 annually.

The pay offered for this position may vary based on several individual factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include additional components/benefits depending on the specific role. This information will be shared if an employment offer is extended.
