As a Finance Manager supporting the Program Management Office, you will play a crucial role in guiding and overseeing the successful execution of program financials for CAES portfolio.  You will be accountable for managing and delivering on complex financial modeling, risk assessments, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, and helping to drive program performance. 
You will report directly to the Sr Program Director and you’ll work out of our a San Jose, CA Honeywell CAES Aerospace Technologies location on a 9/80 work schedule.

Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead period-end closing activities across assigned programs, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting between the PMO and Finance organizations
  • Facilitate weekly and monthly financial cadence across the portfolio, including inputs, reviews, and on-time submission of deliverables to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Analyze individual program financial performance, including key metrics such as Bookings, Sales, Earnings, and Cash, and provide clear insights to support decision-making.
  • Monitor elements of cost and program financial health (EAC’s), proactively identifying risks and opportunities and communicating impacts to program and finance leadership.
  • Support externally reported Earned Value Management (EVM) programs, including compliance with requirements such as IPMDAR, CFSR, DFARS clauses, and DID formats (experience preferred).
  • Develop and maintain financial dashboards and reporting tools, including stoplight charts, revenue forecasts, cash flow projections, and ROI analyses.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in financial planning, reporting, and controls.
  • Support investment-related activities, including capital projects, advanced material funding, and proposal development.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Program Management, Finance, Accounting, and Operations to ensure alignment between financial plans and program execution.
  • Ensure strong financial controls and compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and audit requirements.
Qualifications

US CITIZEN REQUIREMENT

Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.


YOU MUST HAVE 

  • Experience with financial systems (e.g., SAP) and related financial processes.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance. 

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or related field, and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
  • Experience supporting Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) processes, systems, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) 
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams and lead initiatives to successful outcomes.
  • Strong ability to prioritize, self-manage workload, and operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to collect, synthesize, and communicate financial information to diverse stakeholders for decision-making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and in team environments.
  • PMP certification or equivalent program management experience is a plus.

Pay Range:

The annual base salary range for this position is $161,000 - $200,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

 This position is incentive eligible.
