CFGI’s Finance Transformation Practice is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director to lead finance transformation initiatives for our clients. This role involves providing strategic guidance and execution support to enhance financial processes, systems, and organizational design. The Director will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that drive efficiency, compliance, and strategic alignment within finance functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement:
· Lead and manage finance transformation projects for clients across diverse industries, from initial scoping to execution and delivery.
· Establish strong client relationships, becoming a trusted advisor on finance transformation strategies.
Strategic Development:
· Develop tailored transformation strategies that address client-specific needs in areas such as operating model design, process improvement, and technology integration.
· Utilize industry best practices and insights to inform solutions and enhance client outcomes.
Operational Diagnostics:
· Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ finance functions to identify inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
· Analyze current processes and systems, providing actionable recommendations for enhancements.
Change Management:
· Lead change management initiatives that promote the adoption of new processes, technologies, and operational models within client organizations.
· Develop and deliver training and communication plans to ensure stakeholder understanding and alignment.
Team Leadership:
· Manage and mentor a team of finance transformation consultants and analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration and professional growth.
· Collaborate with CFGI teams across different service lines to leverage expertise and deliver integrated solutions.
Thought Leadership:
· Contribute to CFGI’s knowledge base by developing methodologies, tools, and frameworks related to finance transformation.
· Present insights at industry conferences, webinars, and client meetings, establishing CFGI as a thought leader in finance transformation.
Performance Measurement:
· Define and track KPIs to measure the success of transformation initiatives, providing regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
· Utilize feedback and lessons learned to continuously improve consulting practices and client deliverables.
Qualifications and Capabilities:
· Minimum of eight to 10 years of relevant experience in finance transformation, consulting, or finance leadership roles, preferably within a consulting firm.
· Strong understanding of finance processes, technology solutions (e.g., ERP systems), and industry regulations.
· Proven experience in leading large-scale transformation projects and facilitating workshops with diverse stakeholders.
· Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage clients and team members effectively.
