Financial Accountant
(Based at Activewear - Nawala)

Empower transformation by becoming a driving force of change at MAS. We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual responsible for maintaining systems and processes for clusters separately based on the group and company requirement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive 100% system and process discipline of all Activewear plants, warehouses, and sub-contracting facilities by way of continuous System & Process Audits throughout the year.
Introduce new key controls whilst strengthening current controls in place via development of new SOPs, prioritizing business risk areas in the end-to-end business process by way of analyzing the financial statements in a timely and accurate manner to minimize the negative impact on business operations.
Finalizing the sales and Earnings for each financial period [Monthly and yearly] and ensure the targeted/budgeted sales are achieved/followed to it’s set periods and making sure the same is accounted through the system to recognize the accurate financials and guide the plants accordingly.
Ensure zero IP related violations/concerns are escalated by the customer, and no products of Activewear are pilfered by any internal or outside party by enabling periodic Brand Protection audits at all plant, hub and 3rd party manufacturing locations.
Support the business by generating periodic [Weekly, Monthly] exception reports based on various SAP and other data sources, analyses the same and shares the exceptions with senior management for key decision making.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Degree in Finance or Equivalent professional qualification
- 3 to 5 years’ experience
- Good Knowledge of SAP system and Excel Analytical Skills
- Sound Auditing Skill – Additional requirement
- Understanding of the Business and overall MAS Business environment
- Excellent Interpersonal, Communication and Presentation skills
