Continuing along it highly successful growth trajectory, San Francisci Federal is seeking a Financial Advisor for our Golden Gate in San Francisco.


The Position

As a Financial Advisor with San Francisco Federal, you will serve as a trusted partner to our members, providing personalized investment and insurance guidance withing our branch network. By understanding each member’s unique needs and values, you will empower them to make confident financial decisions, while building long-term relationships founded on trust and world-class service.

 

  • Build meaningful relationships with members by taking a consultative, goals-based approach to understanding their financial needs and recommending personalized investment, retirement, and insurance solutions.
  • Grow and manage your book of business by deepening existing member relationships and developing new opportunities through referrals, networking, and community engagement.
  • Serve as the trusted financial advisor for your assigned branches, partnering with members through every stage of their financial journey.
  • Collaborate with Branch Managers, Universal Bankers and other member-facing teams to identify opportunities, strengthen referral partnerships, and contribute to a culture of shared success.
  • Expand your community presence by developing relationships with local centers of influence and hosting financial education seminars, workshops, and branch events that empower members and attract new business.
  • Deliver a world-class member experience through responsive, proactive service that builds long-term trust and loyalty.
  • Maintain the highest standards of ethics, professionalism, and regulatory compliance while safeguarding members' best interests.
  • Achieve individual sales and business development goals while contributing to the continued growth and mission of the credit union.


Who Are You?


  •  Minimum of 3 years of investment sales experience.
  • High school diploma.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Active Series 7, 63 and 65 or 66 registrations; active state life insurance license. o Registration with state insurance must be obtained within six months of hire
  • Broad knowledge of investment, insurance, and financial planning solutions.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to inspire member confidence and build lasting relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and broker-dealer platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Financial Institution experience
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification.
