Financial Analyst - Client Advisory (For Immediate Start)
San Francisco, California

Program Overview

Jordan Park’s Financial Analyst Program is a two-year experience that provides exposure to all facets of the wealth management business. High-performing analysts will be eligible for a third-year extension as a Senior Analyst and will have the potential opportunity to continue their career as a member of one of the firm’s functional areas (e.g., Client Advisory, Investment Team, etc.).

What You’ll Do
As a Financial Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in supporting our clients and driving firm initiatives. Responsibilities include:

  • Generating client investment reports and curating client balance sheets
  • Financial planning and forward modeling of client balance sheets
  • Engaging in macroeconomic research including but not limited to asset allocation, trade recommendations, pro forma analysis and/or wealth projections
  • Performing investment due diligence on various third-party managers or deals for inclusion in client portfolios
  • Participating in day-to-day operational management of the portfolio
  • Tracking capital account balances and transactions using third party data aggregation systems
  • Working with custodian client service and partner advisory (tax, legal, etc.) teams to complete client requests
  • Reviewing and preparing administrative documentation
  • Creating and maintaining client files in firm CRM and other systems

About You

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree or will hold one upon your hiring date
  • Have between 0- and 3-years’ work experience
  • Have strong Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
  • Have experience serving and working with clients
  • Can communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Are detail-oriented with a strong sense of accuracy and accountability Seek to understand how the smallest details fit into the “big picture” of our service to clients
  • Are discreet in handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Love taking on challenges and finding creative solutions; continue searching until you find the right answer
  • Work well independently and as part of a team
  • Genuinely like helping people
  • Are hungry to learn
  • Are resilient, resourceful, and adaptable in the face of challenges

Considered but not required:

  • Business, economics, or finance major
  • Aptitude for learning new technologies
  • Previous financial services experience

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation at Jordan Park includes a base salary, discretionary year-end bonus, benefits, and other perks.  We apply a total reward philosophy when determining compensation terms.

The expected base salary for this role in San Francisco, California will be $100,000 per year commensurate with experience, job-related skills, relevant education, licenses and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
