This role will require being full-time onsite at our Palo Alto office to support collaborative team dynamics and innovative problem-solving.

About the Role:

We are seeking a hands-on Financial Operations Manager to support and strengthen our finance operations within a fast-paced, regulated environment. This role blends financial control, treasury oversight, regulatory coordination, and cross-functional business partnership.

You will help ensure operational excellence across financial reporting, liquidity management, and internal controls, while delivering actionable insights to support leadership decision-making.

This role is well-suited to a proactive operator who thrives in high-growth environments, takes ownership, and continuously improves processes.

What You’ll Do:

Financial Operations & Reporting:

  • Support the day-to-day finance function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
  • Support external audits and financial reviews, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables.
  • Maintain accurate books and records, including reconciliations and supporting documentation.
  • Strengthen internal controls, documentation standards, and compliance processes.
  • Partner with business leaders to align financial insights with operational objectives.

Treasury & Liquidity Management:

  • Oversee cash flow monitoring and liquidity management.
  • Partner with treasury on forecasting and funding strategies.
  • Support treasury-related initiatives to enhance capital planning and efficiency.

Regulatory & Accounting Partnership:

  • Partner with Accounting to review accounting policies, estimates, and financial statement adjustments.
  • Support regulatory readiness through strong financial governance and documentation.

Process Improvement & Strategic Projects:

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance scalability and automation.
  • Collaborate with international finance teams to drive consistency and best practices.
  • Lead cross-functional financial projects supporting strategic initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or financial operations, including experience in a regulated financial services environment (payments, banking, fintech, or digital assets).
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, internal controls, and operational finance.
  • Experience supporting audits and preparing financial statements.
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS.

Technical & Analytical Skills:

  • Advanced Excel proficiency.
  • ERP experience, NetSuite strongly preferred.
  • Experience with finance systems such as Coupa, FloQast, Jira, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into clear insights.

Leadership & Operating Style:

  • Hands-on, detail-oriented, and accountable.
  • Comfortable building and refining processes in evolving environments.
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills.
  • Effective communicator who collaborates well across departments.
  • Able to operate effectively in regulated, high-growth environments with competing deadlines.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in digital assets or crypto.
  • Background in high-growth fintech or technology companies.
  • Strong interest in the evolving digital asset ecosystem.

Pay Transparency Notice: Depending upon your leveling and location, the compensation for this role averages between $150,000 - $175,000 USD base salary. Equity, an annual performance bonus and the benefits outlined below are also a part of this role's package.
